What's the best tool for super-sized images...?
11 Oct 2009
Hi

I sell a lot of stamps on eBay and am simply after a tool which will allow me to post large images (certainly larger than those offered by eBay's own tool.

Any other functionality is immaterial - I just want to be able to post large images!

Initially, I'd thought of Auctiva but I've read such bad press recently I'm wondering whether that would be the right choice...plus I'd be paying for features I don't need.

Low cost or no cost would be ideal...and it would need to work with eBay UK.

Any suggestions?

Thanks
Nick

Hi Nick, good question!

You could look at an image host which allows large images, or a "zoomable images" widget which allows the user to magnify selected parts of the image.

The free tools are unlikely to offer enough storage for you (123Show would be a good one to try but it's US-only at the moment).

Here are image hosting solutions.

For zoomable images look at Vendio Image Hosting, SlideTour and Magnify It.

Hi Nick,

I use ebay's TurboLister and don't use templates or optimize pics and i get great supersized pics. Turbo is also a free desktop app
