Is there any free software that hosts eBay templates
12 Oct 2009
Hi,

Looking to have our eBay template designed but understand we need to have some software that will allow us to enter descriptions and then publish this to eBay with the HTML template.

Is there any free software that does this?

Is there any free software that has good templates too?

Thanks

I would expect your template designer to create the template for a particular listing program or supply their own lister. This is because the template HTML will need "marking up" with codes that tell the listing program where the description and images etc. should be placed. A template made for one program will normally need modifying to work with another and while this isn't impossible it will probably be very fiddly for an average computer user.

Your main option if you want completely free is Supreme Auction although even they charge for their better templates. Low-cost options include Auctiva, Vendio Platform, and The Seller Sourcebook - who are template specialists.

I sell on ebay as a hobby and found a great site that allows me to create ebay templates for FREE! You do have to store your photos somewhere online but there are sites that do this for free as well. They give you some recommendations and you can search for them as well.

I found the site by looking at someone else's ebay posting. It is very easy to use and it creates html code for you to put in your ebay listing to have stylish borders.
