Short questionnaire for software providers
5 Feb 2014
Dear all.

I have exactly the same request like sunshinematt here.

We currently sell on amazon.com, .eu (all flavours), on 2 own webs + do dropshipping for partners.

we're growing fast and it's getting out of our control.

we need a good IMS. I spent about two weeks playing with different trial versions, but nothing was really IT.

I have quite specific needs. e.g.
- EUR, USD, GBP but also CZK and PLN currencies
- correct work with VAT (add it to EU orders, but don't to other orders)
- multi warehouse and multi pricelist
- CSV/XML imports and exports (best customizable).
etc..

when playing with trialversions, I found in each a major problem (e.g. TradeGecko doesn't sync with amazon, other doesn't know VAT, stichlabs doesn't work CZK, PLN currencies, other is way tooo slow (from central Europe).

Sooooo, I decided to do it this way.

Please all SW providers, go to this short questionnaire and fill which features you have and which don't.
I'll then accroding to this answers pick 1-3 best to play closely with. then I hopefull select one "best" IMS for our needs. I hope I find one. I'm currently affraid that i'll have to go the freelancers' way (which i'd like to avoid, I think there should be a "perfect" system out there...).

everybody from a SW company, fill it here please:

I got couple of responses from SW providers. in case anybody would be interrested to see the results - let me know.

so far the best seems XSellco. but they haven't responded for my demo request for 2 days :-(

if anybody has any recommendation for multi-channel software, that handles VAT well (and has good imports/exports (csv/xml)), I'd greatly appreciate to let me know.

XSellco are exhibiting at the Internet Retailing show at the moment, which might explain the delay.

yes, andy, you're right everybody was in birmigham at the moment when I sent them email. by bad...

anyway, maybe someone will find it useful:
here are responses:
docs.google.com/spreadsheet/cc...UlVNDR3REt1dGRXNWc&usp=sharing

here is list of email addresses that i contacted:
docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d...7w2MaKd-vVooc/edit?usp=sharing

for me the most promising looks XSellco and Linnworks.
at this moment (unless I get another responses) I consider only these two.
