EURO EXCHANGE
3 May 2016
Had a chat with World First at the Internet Retailing Show and they offer a service of offering to set up a Deutsche Bank account which Amazon can transfer my Euros from my Amazon sales on fr, es, de and it. They will then transfer it for a 2% exchange fee, claiming a 1.5% saving on Amazon's exchange rate and will also transfer same day, saving 2 -3 working days.

Has anyone had any experience of World First or similar companies and are there any downsides?

Cheers

Sorry reading the reviews now which seem very positive. Any other recommendations or alternatives?

We list only one other company providing a similar service: Currencies Direct.

The category for these ecommerce foreign exchange specialists is here: www.webretailer.com/categories...ance.asp?category=189#profiles

I used to live in Mill Hill by the way, just by the Power League.

@Andy

Thanks Andy.

Yes, I used to play there every Thursday Night (and then up to the 3 Hammers to 'replace the fluids'!) but had to retire last year as, although the mind was willing, the body wasn't any more.

Ah yes, we used to go to the Three Hammers or The Mill for the pub quiz quite often... which I just discovered is now a nursing home!

I better leave this thread alone now in case someone wants to answer your original question!

We use World First for Euro payments through Amazon, and a US$ account for payments from eBay US.

We have had no problems at all, and the Amazon payments are received into our WF Euro account and transferred into our UK £ account quicker than we receive our Amazon UK payments.
