We are new users to eSellerPro. If other ESellerPro users would like to respond perhaps we could create a user forum to share experiences and hacks.

Thanks

PS. First query, how do I use the bundled products feature? (InventoryRelated)

Welcome to eSellerPro.

The bundled products facility is for use with the eSellerPro storefront (the integral website with checkout).

It allows you to create product bundles, i.e. digital camera with case or digital camera with memory card, case and batteries etc. When the bundle sells it netts down the stock for the individual items.

I am sure you will soon get to grips with the broad range of functions available.

Great idea setting up this forum!! We will certainly make other users of the system aware of it.

Hi
Thanks for the info on bundled products. Does it only work with the storefront part of eSellerPro? I really wanted it to work with eBay sales as well.

lo golfer,

You could actually do this for eBay items as well, however not in the line of thought you’re thinking of.

I'm guessing you are considering combining two or more inventory items together to make a single item to be sold, just like the bundled items functionality of the eSellerPro storefront.

I'm pretty sure the chaps could make this work at esellerpro, but in reality would you want a compromise on the most valuable real-estate you have on eBay, the 55 character title?

Lets say u have the following:

1 x Cobra LD-F Speed 07 Golf Driver
1 x Nike One Platinum II Golf Ball
1 x Cobra Golf SY-07 Stand Bag.

To properly define these items as a kit you would need a product title along the lines of this:

Kit: Cobra LD-F Speed 07 Golf Driver and Nike One Platinum II Golf Ball and a Cobra Golf SY-07 Stand Bag.

On a website this is very easy to do, however on eBay we are constrained by the 55 char limit, so how on earth would you combine different titles together to make one that made sense!!

Instead I would create separate kits (actual items), with titles that are designed around the 55 character limit of the title taking sure that it as optimized as possible to gain the maximum hits on it!!

PS.
80% off all items that are sold on eBay are found via the titles only search according to their own statistics

Food for thought =)

From my experience, package selling is very worthwhile. Sometimes you can even make it a higher price than if you were selling each item individually.

You don't have to use all those characters in the title. I'd say you can still squeeze enough to get the point across. The example of all of that golf stuff was way more keywords than what I would use. People generally aren't going to search for that specific of a title and even if they do, just one of the important keywords should be enough.

Also, the gallery pic will probably do most of the selling. You can either take a pic with all three items in the picture or just photoshop them together. Make sure you add a watermark in the image so all those competitors can't steal your stuff!

Hi Guys,

Thanks for your interesting input. The issue I'm wrestling with is much more basic. I basically need a parts explosion. Here is the actual example.

The item is a Golf Gift Set.
It consists of an acrylic box and insert, 7 wooden 54mm tees, 1 pencil, 2 ballmarkers and a pitch mark repairer.

We sell all of the component parts separately as well, so they all exist as separate stock items. What I want is for the stock levels of the tees, pencils, ball markers and pitch repairers to be reduced automatically by the quantities above when I sell a Golf Gift Set.

The bundled products option (which it seems only works with the storefront) can do this. I don't understand why it can't work the same when you sell a product via eBay.

Thanks again for your help and interest.
