About David Jaeger

David’s first experience with ecommerce was selling custom computers on eBay while working full-time for a company doing Search Engine Marketing (SEM) and Pay Per Click advertising (PPC). He trained one of his business partners to sell on eBay, and then helped them launch their own business, buying and selling through Craigslist, eBay and Amazon.

In 2009, David launched the SEM Division for National Positions, an INC500 Search Engine Optimization (SEO) company. The division specialized in helping ecommerce businesses master search engine marketing, including large retailers like NordicTrack and Proform, and smaller Amazon sellers just getting started in search advertising.

David has personally consulted with over 200 business owners, helping them create realistic and competitive SEM goals that take into account their profit margin, as well as giving broad business advice. The team now manages over $25 million in advertising spend for clients. In 2013, the division was spun off into its own business – – with David as the COO.

Along the way, David launched his own ecommerce business selling motorcycle gear. He learnt about all the other challenges ecommerce merchants have, beyond driving traffic to their sites and converting visitors into buyers. He currently sells up to $5,000 per month through the Amazon marketplace.

Today, David still helps clients and partners set realistic and achievable business goals, as well as sharing the latest tips on how to use online advertising more effectively.
