Currency exchange company WorldFirst has added Australian dollar currency accounts to its new World Account platform.
The launch coincides with the arrival of Amazon in Australia, the most popular export market for UK businesses after Europe and USA.
The AUD currency accounts are free to open and maintain, so businesses are not be charged with a monthly fee to use. The World Account is currently available to businesses in the UK and EEA (European Economic Area).
The new AUD accounts make it easier, cheaper and simpler for global businesses to trade with Australia, enabling them to receive money from Australian customers in AUD and pay Australian suppliers in local currency. Operating ‘like a local' enables businesses to avoid international banking fees commonly associated with cross-border, cross-currency transfers.
Jonathan Quin, CEO of WorldFirst said: "Adding the new Australian dollar accounts to our World Account platform will make it easier and cheaper for UK businesses to trade Down Under. Opening overseas bank accounts is one of the most stubborn hurdles for businesses to get over when looking to expand into a new market. Until now the process could take months, sometimes years."
WorldFirst AUD account holders will get their own unique bank account details where they can receive funds from sales on Amazon or other marketplaces or pay suppliers, giving them full control of all their international payments. The new AUD accounts will sit alongside the already launched CAD, EUR, GBP, JPY and USD accounts.
Ecommerce software provider Jazva has received two awards from business review platform FinancesOnline.

US sales tax tool TaxJar now allows users to mark specific transactions as exempt from sales tax.
This means that sales tax reports will be more accurate, and sales tax returns can be automatically filed without running into any roadblocks.
Before this new feature, if users sold a taxable item to a tax-exempt buyer, such as resellers, government entities or educational institutions, the system had no way of knowing that sales tax should not be charged. With the new feature, sellers can mark a transaction as "exempt" one time, and TaxJar will record that in the system and account for it correctly in reports and returns.
3PL Central is used by many third-party logistics companies (3PLs). The integration allows Ordoro users to:
- Connect 3PL Central with Ordoro, ensuring compatibility with hundreds of potential warehouses and 3PLs that use the system.
- View inventory in a 3PL Central-using warehouse or check available product carried by a supplier that uses the system.
- Automatically relay full or partial orders from the app to 3PL Central, and have tracking information sent back and posted to sales channels once they're fulfilled.
Merchants can use the Expandly app to integrate their Shopify account with Amazon, eBay and Etsy, providing one easy, central and affordable location to manage listings, orders, inventories, shipping and reporting.

Amazon selling tools suite Efficient Era has added a new solution which tracks the performance of Amazon discount promotions.
Efficient Era's Promotions Tracker monitors how many times discount codes were used, including the exact orders they were applied to. All the data is compiled into searchable tables, so sellers can see exactly how promotions performed.
A new Promotion Counter provides summary data to show how many times a promotion code was used, in which market, and whether by an individual or a business customer.
The new tool can show where a promotion is getting the most conversions, such as a social site, so the seller can focus on the most profitable area to acquire sales in the future.

Amazon analytics tool ManageByStats has a new keyword rank checking tool that runs completely in the cloud.
The ManageByStats Keyword tool checks the ranking for selected keywords for specified products. It used to consist of a downloaded software application along with a reporting UI on the ManageByStats website. With the new release everything runs inside ManageByStats.
"The software app was our first solution for this", said ManageByStats CEO, Philip Jepsen. "But it became a little cumbersome to run separately. Users either had to schedule or oversee the running of it to check keywords, and so we decided to automate it by bringing it all within the main program."
With the new tool users create projects, add ASINs (products) and list all keywords for each product directly in the new Keywords section of ManageByStats. Graphs and evaluation tools are also in this area, so the entire process of managing and evaluating keywords can be overseen. ManageByStats automatically pulls and updates Keyword data, including newly added keywords.

When SellerActive users update or add variations for product listings (such as size or color) the changes are immediately reflected across all integrated marketplace listings.

Multichannel management solution Jazva has announced a number of enhancements to their sales channel support.
Jazva has been updated to the latest version of Walmart's Full Item Spec API, and now imports orders with the Walmart customer order number and purchase order number. This allows users to search for orders by Walmart's customer order number.
Jazva can now publish listings using eBay's business policies for shipping, refunds, and payments. The eBay business policies can be applied when creating or editing shipping and listing profiles in Jazva.
WooCommerce enhancements include importing and publishing bullet points as visible attributes on WooCommerce listings.
Finally, Jazva can now import channel-specific prices during product import.
Ecommerce fulfillment service provider ShipBob has opened a new warehouse in Dallas, Texas.
The Dallas facility is ShipBob's fifth fulfillment center and their first in the southern United States.

ShipBob's warehouse will bring new jobs to the area with plans to hire over 100 employees over the course of the next two months. ShipBob has helped more than 1,000 ecommerce companies ship over two million packages to date, with warehouses in Chicago, Brooklyn, Las Angeles, San Francisco, and now Dallas.
