ChannelAdvisor's long-running eBay selling tool MarketplaceAdvisor will be shut down from July 2015.
In a statement on the MarketplaceAdvisor website, ChannelAdvisor said, "We continuously evaluate how and where we focus our internal resources to help you grow your business. Occasionally this means we must discontinue support for certain products or services. It is in this spirit that we have made the difficult decision to discontinue our Marketworks/MarketplaceAdvisor Standard product on September 14, 2015 in order to concentrate our efforts on other parts of our platform."
The shut down will start on July 15 when new listings and relisting will no longer be possible. Orders will not be imported after August 17 and access removed on September 14.
MarketplaceAdvisor was the result of ChannelAdvisor's acquisition of rival Marketworks in 2007. The service was retained as an eBay-only sales management service, alongside ChannelAdvisor's flagship Marketplaces software for multichannel sellers.
Marketplace management platform ChannelAdvisor Marketplaces has launched a major new software update.

Multichannel management solution ChannelAdvisor has added an integration with new ecommerce marketplace Jet.
"Jet is positioned to become a disruptive player in the e-commerce industry," said ChannelAdvisor CEO Scot Wingo.
