Marketplace management system Kyozou has had a design rebrand ahead of major updates due for release in 2016.
Along with the rebrand and updated logo, Kyozou has launched a brand new website with a mobile-friendly design and updated content.
Kyozou says they have "some major updates" in development. Kyozou is one of the longest-standing marketplace management tools, having been listed in the Web Retailer directory since 2004.
Inventory and channel management tool Kyozou has launched a new version of its webstore module that is up to 20 times faster than the previous version.
Kyozou have been working for the past two years on a stronger, faster and better webstore platform that is competitive with other cloud-based shopping carts. Now Kyozou Webstore 2.0 has been launched and is a feature-rich webstore platform with faster page load times and the ability to handle over 100,000 active visitors per hour.
Google Webmaster Tools reports that a sample Kyozou store has a page loading speed of 86 out of 100, on a par with Shopify.
Marketplace management system Kyozou is adding support for the Newegg marketplace.
Newegg is known for selling electronics and computer parts, but has become an online marketplace for third party sellers to sell their products in 75 different product categories including consumer electronics, jewelry, home improvement, toys and games and automotive.
Newegg is the second largest online-only retailer in the United States, with 28 million registered users.
Overstock's third-party auctions marketplace has closed down permanently.
A message on the site simply says "We are sad to announce that the O.co Marketplace (Auctions) has closed. We extend our gratitude to all of you who helped make the O.co Marketplace an exciting place for both buyers and sellers. We encourage you to visit our other O.co websites, where you can find great savings on brand-name merchandise, cars, and even vacations."
eBay's certification program for third-party solution providers has been updated, with significant changes to the criteria certified providers must meet - resulting in some providers leaving the program.

The eBay Certified Provider Program was launched in 2004.
eCommerce solutions provider Kyozou has announced an integration with automotive software company Geckobyte.
The integration provides shoppers with a visual tool to find wheels and tires matching their vehicle. The matching tool can be displayed in an eBay Store and eBay listings.
"When combined with the tools offered by Kyozou, sellers have a very powerful tool to increase and manage sales," says Tiegen Fryberger, President of Geckobyte. "This synergy with Kyozou and Geckobyte empowers online sellers by creating an exact-match wheel/tire fitting tool for their customers - a first in the industry."
E-commerce management solution Kyozou has announced plans for full integration with Bidtopia.
Kyozou provides a web-based interface for large volume sellers to describe, list and manage the sale of their inventory across various online sales channels. Currently supported channels are eBay, Amazon and Overstock, with Bidtopia joining in May 2009.
The integration makes Kyozou the second software partner of Bidtopia, following SpoonFeeder. Kyozou’s technology is expected to be available to Bidtopia users in May 2009.
Bidtopia launched in 2007 as an online auction platform for larger volume buyers and sellers. Hosting multiple online store owners, Bidtopia provides an open exchange with a low cost and user-friendly platform.
Auction management solution Kyozou now features an auction platform that allows online retailers to launch their own customized auctions site.
The platform includes functionality found on third-party auction websites such as multiple auction formats, live auction clocks, analytics tracking, and email marketing capabilities. The system can be fully branded to fit your website's look and feel.
The new auctions system is integrated with Kyozou's sales management solution.
