Ecommerce software company Brightpearl has a new integration with Magento add-on M2E Pro which adds marketplace listing capabilities to the Brightpearl system.
Brightpearl's SVP Global Partnerships Adam Smith, added, "We are excited to make M2E's industry leading publishing technology available to the growing Brightpearl community of retailers. Magento, M2E, and Brightpearl together provide a powerful solution for independent merchants, and this partnership will dramatically change the way in which retailers manage their multichannel operations to drive greater revenue potential."
"Brightpearl is resilient at scale, because our platform is benchmarked at more than one million orders a day per store. So your Magento store will maintain high performance even when you are taking large numbers of orders across multiple channels."
The integration with M2E lets retailers publish products directly from Magento to marketplaces while maintaining real-time order and inventory management across all channels.
All product data is stored in Magento and users can decide which products to list on Amazon, eBay and Rakuten using a simple set of pages. The selected products will automatically connect to Brightpearl's inventory management system, which synchronizes stock levels across all channels, online and offline.
Multi-channel merchants using Brightpearl's software can manage their entire business operations – orders, inventory, customer data, accounting and reporting – from one platform.
The developer of Magento-to-eBay extension M2E Pro has announced their new price plans after eBay stopped funding the plug-in, reports Tamebay.
The announcement is M2E Pro's third since first informing users that they would start charging for the service.
The first announcement was unexpected and controversial amongst M2E Pro users, leading to a retraction and a survey of the extension's large user base. The survey had 547 responses and 338 written comments.
There are 10 new price plans, each of which are offered with the option for listings or orders functionality, or both - known as M2E Complete. Prices range from $7.50 for $5,000 in sales per month to $999 for $1 million in sales per month. Prices are not adjusted for other currencies, so UK sellers will pay up to £999 per month, albeit on a higher level of sales of £1 million.
The first 30 days billing cycle started on the 1st of November, and those wishing to continue using M2E Pro beyond 15 December will need to subscribe to a paid plan.
Popular Magento-to-eBay extension M2E Pro, which has been provided for free since it was first launched, recently announced new pricing then quickly retracted it after user complaints, reports Tamebay.
M2E Pro originally announced prices ranging from $19.00 to $999.00 per month, per marketplace account. Marketplace accounts in M2E Pro are defined as eBay, Amazon America, Amazon Europe and Rakuten.
The company than removed the new prices from their pricing page and instead announced a survey which will be used to determine the new pricing.
There has been speculation that eBay are no longer funding M2E Pro, as their eBay Enterprise division which includes Magento was sold off earlier this year. An M2E Pro spokesperson said "As you may know, we have been closely working with our partner – eBay during last 4 years and have delivered best in class solution to dozens of thousands of Magento based merchants worldwide. We are very grateful to eBay for taking the lead and fully subsidizing m2e pro (eBay) during all these years. Without eBay's support many thousands of merchants would not be able to take advantage of power of selling on multi channels".
