Marketplace and inventory management tool plentymarkets now has no setup or monthly fees - only a fee for each order processed by the system.
New plentymarkets customers will be given free access to all software functions such as multichannel management, mobile responsive online store, stock management, order processing, payment and fulfillment services. There is also free support and a short one-month contract.
The only fee remaining is a percentage of each order's invoice amount, starting from £0.10 per order for UK-based users. Existing plentymarkets customers will be able to switch to the new pricing model, known as plentymarkets ZERO, once testing has been completed with new users.
Multichannel ecommerce management tool plentymarkets now supports checkout via the Klarna payment system.
Klarna Checkout makes mobile commerce quick and easy, only requiring customers to enter information that they already know rather than long credit card numbers. Sellers do not need to modify their store's checkout to use Klarna, instead customers are redirected to Klarna Checkout rather than completing the process in the online store.
Klarna Checkout includes several different payment methods, and if the customer has used Klarna in the past then the payment information will be filled in automatically.
To use Klarna Checkout in plentymarkets, sellers only need to enter their Klarna account information then insert a code snippet into the store's web design.
Multi-channel ecommerce software company plentymarkets are holding their annual sellers' conference on 19-20 February 2016 in Kassel, Germany.
The event caters to newcomers, insiders and "ecommerce rockstars", says the company.
The 2016 congress will be larger than ever before, and plentymarkets will unveil brand-new features of their software as well as hosting ecommerce experts, networking events and entertainment at the Kongress Palais in Kassel.
Marketplace and inventory management tool plentymarkets Cloud has added "multi-line code blocks" to their CMS (content management system) syntax.
The new code syntax affects the definition of comments, variables, and "if" and "for" constructions in plentymarkets design templates.
Multi-line code blocks allow a clearer arrangement of template source code. CMS syntax will also be available for other areas of plentymarkets, such as order process validators which can automatically check order data.
Ecommerce management tool plentymarkets has added support for Flubit, a UK marketplace driven by buyer product requests.
Customers who have already found an item on Amazon use Flubit to find the product at a lower price. Flubit was profiled on Web Retailer last year.
Flubit is now fully integrated into plentymarkets for listing and order processing.
Multi-channel management solution plentymarkets has an updated pricing structure starting at only £10+VAT per month for a webstore, order processing and stock management.
A new product configurator allows users to create a tailored product profile which meets the needs of their business.
The cheapest package is only £10 per month, and the contract time is now just one month.
Ecommerce management platform plentymarkets has added support for Rakuten.co.uk (formerly Play.com).
An interface to Rakuten.de has been available in plentymarkets for some time, and the two Rakuten marketplaces are very similar. On both platforms customers collect "Super Points" that they can use to get money off their next purchase on Rakuten.
German marketplace management solution plentymarkets has a new "responsive" mobile-friendly design template for online stores.
The new design, called Callisto Light, was released in May. New plentymarkets stores automatically use the new design by default.
The design can easily be adjusted for various devices including desktops, phones and tablets. The focus is on providing a user-friendly design with a simple navigation.
Multichannel management solution plentymarkets Cloud has released a number of new features in recent months.
eBay's out-of-stock option feature is now supported by plentymarkets. Out of Stock Control makes it possible for items that are sold out to remain visible on the site. When the item is back in stock the listing keeps its sales history and listing ID, and any advantages it has in search ranking.
plentymarkets users can now create their own personal customer support ticket templates. Although templates were introduced some time ago users could not create them without admin rights.
plentymarkets now has support for the marketplace Fruugo. Fruugo specializes in cross-border trade, with a prescence in 23 countries including many in EU countries, as well as Russia, Australia, the USA and South Africa. Fruugo includes automatic translation of descriptions, currency conversion, payment protection and VAT support.
Finally, plentymarkets has updated its connector to ecommerce solution Shopware. The integration makes it possible to transfer item data in multiple languages, and import bank details with orders. The connector itself is an OpenSource project licensed under the GPL and available on GitHub.
