Great article and some very very solid points. When I first started selling (3 years ago) I thought I was the only one that knew about drop-shipping.

Turns out, absolutely everyone else did and the only way to make any money at all was to find the best selling products before everyone else got on the trend to drive the profit margin down.

I find Groupon often promotes products quite early on, but you can also watch spaces like aliexpress top sellers, terrapeak and Fancy.com in order to find the next top seller. Main thing to keep an eye on is the Units Sold. Emotionally detach yourself from the product itself.

I would highly recommend using Trendosaur which scans them all if you can afford it.

And lastly, option 1, Reselling, is THE best way to scale up a business fast (in my humble opinion).
