Amazon Unified account, how to support multi languages
28 Feb 2015
Hi Everyone,

I'm looking for some help to solve a problem regarding selling into Europe and not been able to speak the languages.

I want to open an Amazon Unified account to sell my products in the UK, Germany, France and Italy, however I don't speak the language. As I don't speak the language I was wondering if anyone knows of any software that I could use that can handle the customer services and translate it to English.

I will be using an inventory managing software called Sellery, as I have used it before and know how to use it works, so that side is all sorted out.

Any help would be really useful.

I know people who simply use Google translate and they say it works well - see Bigian13's comment in this discussion:

There are a couple of specialized customer support tools for marketplace sellers, ReplyManager is a popular one then there's XSellco Fusion and a new one called nChannel Customer Experience Management (but US only).

It's worth checking the feature lists of those and see if they have built-in translation.

There's also the option of outsourcing customer support to a specialist like 2nd Office and let them worry about translation. More marketplace selling outsourcing services.

Hope that helps!

WebInterpret can help you with selling in Europe. They can translate listings and also do a message translation service.

They helped us start to increase our sales internationally on eBay as well as Amazon.

Although we no longer use them due to too many problems, some users really do rate them so it could be worth a try.

E-commerce , love it or hate it, that's why we are here

Firstly, thanks for the mention there Andy.

We do offer automated translation on our customer support platform. All you need to do is set your preferred languages, and we will automatically translate every message you get in, as well as translate your outgoing messages and your templates. You can also filter by language, so you can assign certain languages to certain support agents etc.

It is available as standard on all our packages. Free trial available too, so feel free to give it a go

Hope this helps.
