PrestaShop Appoints Corinne Lejbowicz as New CEO

French ecommerce platform PrestaShop has appointed executive Corinne Lejbowicz as its new CEO.

Ms. Lejbowicz is a veteran in the internet and ecommerce space, and is now tasked with strengthening PrestaShop's leadership position within the market, escalating growth and expanding international development.

In 1989, Ms. Lejbowicz began her career in the digital sector and has held notable positions including Director of New Projects and Innovation at AOL and Vivendi. As CEO of the shopping engine, Ms. Lejbowicz actively contributed to the company's growth, which surged from 3.9 million Euros in annual sales in 2005 to 44 million Euros in 2012. She also led through its IPO in 2006 and the acquisition of two companies in Europe.

"This year PrestaShop will cross the one-million member threshold and our growth goals are more ambitious than ever. We are excited that Corinne has joined and are confident that she will take PrestaShop to the highest level," said PrestaShop's founder, Bruno Leveque. "Her strategic expertise and thorough knowledge of ecommerce will be key assets for PrestaShop to expand its growth and cement its positioning in the four corners of the earth."
