Shipping system ShipStation has added an integration with US mail consolidator APC Postal Logistics.
With the integration, ShipStation customers will have access to APC's rates, tracking and delivery options within ShipStation's platform.
APC is a USPS consolidator with competitive rates for international shipments.
Order management tool ShipStation can now print shipping labels from its mobile apps for Android and iOS.
The mobile app, called ShipStation Companion, prints labels via a connected computer. The app can also be used for a range of shipping management tasks such as putting orders on hold, cancelling orders, viewing and printing packing slips, and more.
The ShipStation Companion apps were launched in April.
With the integration, ShipStation can sync orders from DEAR Systems, automate order fulfillment and label generation, and output shipping data back to DEAR Systems. ShipStation provides batch label creation across multiple carriers, discounted USPS rates, custom packing slips, and more.
DEAR Systems is an inventory system with support for eBay, Xero, QuickBooks, Shopify, and Magento, and features for checking stock, invoicing, managing sales channels, tracking costs, purchase order generation and more.
Order management system ShipStation has new "Companion" mobile apps for both Android and iOS devices.
ShipStation Companion allows sellers to manage orders, create shipping labels, view shipment details, track shipments, and more.
Other recent improvements to ShipStation include custom packaging sizes, product aliases, local time zone support, a redesigned shipment tracking page, auto-purchasing of USPS postage, automatically updated tracking information, and the ability to delay shipment email notifications.
Merchants can use Cratejoy to operate a sell-by-subscription ecommerce business, and the new integration with ShipStation allows sellers to automatically import orders, print multi-carrier labels, provide tracking data and more.
ShipStation users can now send orders for fulfillment by Rakuten Super Logistics, while fulfilling other orders in house using ShipStation's carrier connections and batch label creation features.
Penny allows users to sell products directly through Instagram. Available products have the hashtag #paywithpenny and can be bought by commenting with the hashtag #sold.
ShipStation can retrieve orders from Penny and print labels singly or in bulk. ShipStation provides multi-carrier label printing, discounted USPS rates, custom packing slips, advanced order management, and more.

Endicia's parent company Newell Rubbermaid announced on Tuesday that it had made a definitive agreement to make the sale.

Stamps.com was founded in 1996 to offer US postage printing over the Internet. It claims more than 80% of the internet postage subscription market, and has seen its annual revenue rise from $85.5m in 2010 to $147.3m in 2014. Stamps.com said it would fund the acquisition with $50m in cash and $165m in financing.

Order and shipping management tool ShipStation has added an integration with crowdfunding fulfillment tool BackerKit.
BackerKit helps translate backer data from crowdfunding sites such as Kickstarter into orders. The new integration means Backerkit orders can be imported into ShipStation for shipping, with tracking data synchronized between the systems.
With the new integration, ShipStation can sync and organize StageBloc orders, provide shipping rates, and print labels in bulk. ShipStation can now handle orders from over 50 ecommerce platforms.
ShipStation users can now have customs data automatically uploaded to Asendia USA, and print labels including Asendia tracking information.

Celery is a popular platform for crowdfunded businesses and others who use pre-ordering heavily. ShipStation's new integration allows sellers to fulfill Celery oreders quickly and easily using ShipStation.
ShipStation can create multiple Globegistics labels for a batch of orders, and automatically transmits tracking data back to the buyer and sales channel.
Globegistics provides discounted international shipping rates with full tracking to over 30 countries worldwide.
Shipping software provider ShipStation has launched a website focused on the US TV program Shark Tank, with episode summaries and contestant bios.
In With The Sharks includes
- A list of companies that have appeared on the show.
- How much funding was given to each contestant, and by who.
- Website and social media links to all contestants.
- Additional information and tips.

Shipping software ShipStation has a new and improved integration with the Wordpress ecommerce plugin WooCommerce.
WooCommerce merchants can now more easily use ShipStation to process WooCommerce orders, including batch label printing, reporting, and automation features. ShipStation worked with WooCommerce developer WooThemes to build the new integration.
The WooCommerce ShipStation plugin allows merchants to import orders directly from WooCommerce to ShipStation, consolidating them with orders from other channels, and automatically updating shipment status on WooCommerce once parcels have shipped.
Shipping system ShipStation is now integrated with the Square physical point-of-sale payment app.
With the new integration, Square sellers will be able to ship orders using ShipStation's discounted USPS rates, multi-carrier label processing, and order management functionality. The setup process is streamlined by automatically populating store and warehouse information from Square.
Square's flagship feature is a point-of-sale mobile app, running on iPads, iPhones and Android devices.
Order management system ShipStation has added support for Newegg's business marketplace.
Newegg Businesss specializes in business essentials such as office supplies and computer hardware, and offers online sellers volume discounts, account managers, and the lowest commission rates of any major online marketplace.
The integration between ShipStation and Newegg Business includes order download, shipping status synchronization, and batch label creation.
ChannelAdvisor also added support for Newegg Business this month.
LemonStand merchants can now create labels in ShipStation for all supported shipping carriers, and ShipStation will send shipping information back to LemonStand and the buyer.
LemonStand, a cloud-based ecommerce platform, is offering ShipStation users an extended two-month trial with coupon code ShipStationX2. The standard LemonStand trial period is 14 days.

Stamps.com purchased ShipStation for $50 million in cash plus up to 768,900 shares of Stamps.com stock, linked to performance. Stamps.com plans for ShipStation to operate as an independent, wholly-owned subsidiary, led by the existing management team.

Order management tool ShipStation has added support for DHL Express.
Sellers with DHL Express accounts will be able to add their account number to ShipStation and print labels for the service, along with customs labels. Both Express Worldwide and Express Envelope services are supported. ShipStation recommend DHL Express for US sellers shipping internationally.
Shipping software Endicia now integrates directly with eBay to process orders, print USPS shipping labels, and update tracking information.

Order management tool ShipStation has announced new partnerships with ecommerce software providers Magento and Volusion.
ShipStation has been integrated with these platforms for some time but is now an official Magento Industry Partner Program and a Volusion Certified Partner.
Order management software ShipStation now works with stores created using the Storenvy ecommerce system.
Storenvy offers sellers both a marketplace and a storefront, and mainly covers handcrafted items. The integration allows ShipStation to import orders automatically for fulfillment using any of the supported carriers.
Order management system ShipStation has introduced support for Amazon's FBA program - Fulfillment By Amazon - in the US.
FBA allows retailers to outsource their order fulfillment process to Amazon. ShipStation's integration automatically sends order data to Amazon for shipping then updates the marketplace and buyer, providing the carrier's tracking number.
Order management tool ShipStation is now compatible with eBay's new Global Shipping Program.
Under the program, being piloted in the US, sellers ship international orders to a domestic warehouse which then handles the international shipping and paperwork.
