Jazva is now an approved shipping integrator for Amazon's Seller Fulfilled Prime (SFP) program. Sellers can process and fulfill SFP orders directly through Jazva, taking advantage of Prime branding and making their product listings eligible for Prime's two-day delivery service. This feature is currently in beta.
"Jazva already provides many robust integrations with Amazon FBA and MCF, so supporting SFP was the next logical progression to help our customers grow their Amazon business," says Itso Ivanov, Jazva's VP of Engineering.
Amazon estimates that sellers joining SFP will see a 30% to 40% jump in their sales.
Jazva has also added support for the Volusion shopping cart, enabling sellers to import products and orders from Volusion, as well as create products in Jazva and push listings to their Volusion web store. This feature is also in beta.
Finally, Jazva has released a number of UX (user experience) Improvements, giving a new look to the order admin area, redesigning the sales tax page, upgrading the missing items report, and creating new custom reordering options.
Cloud-based shopping cart Volusion has added support for Amazon's payments system.
Volusion Merchants in the US can now enable Pay with Amazon, allowing shoppers to make purchases using payment and shipping information stored in their Amazon account.
The integration makes it easy for the hundreds of millions of Amazon customers to shop on Volusion websites. The merchant retains full control of the customer relationship, and product-level order data is never shared with Amazon.
"Providing customers with the ability to seamlessly log in and pay for items with the information stored in their Amazon accounts is a must-have feature," said Garin Fons at MellowJohnnys.com. "As a long-time customer, we are thrilled that Volusion offers this powerful integration."
Cloud-based web store provider Volusion has released a selling app that runs on Android smart watches.
Volusion for Wear allows merchants to review store activities including new, processing and shipped orders, and see a stores' total sales for the last 24 hours, seven days, and ninety days. The app also provides push notifications to alert merchants of new orders in real-time, and inventory alerts when the stock status of a product is running low. The app can be downloaded from Google Play.
"As mobile devices become more deeply integrated with our everyday lives, so grows the need for our merchants to better manage their stores on-the-go," said Clay Olivier, Volusion CEO. "This is why we've invested heavily in increasing our mobile management capabilities, and are excited to have this best-in-class smartwatch app now available to the public."
Volusion also released the third version of their app for smartphones and tablets running iOS and Android. The new apps include the ability to add and edit products, provide secure login using iPhone's Touch ID technology, and include enhanced shipping tools.
Ecommerce platform Volusion has raised an additional $55 million in venture capital funding.
The financing was led by Main Street Capital Corporation, and the funds will be used mainly for the development of the company's enterprise platform Mozu, which launched in January 2014.
"Supporting Volusion's vision as they generate significant growth with the Mozu platform is a natural fit for us," said Dwayne Hyzak, Chief Operating Officer and Senior Managing Director of Main Street Capital Corporation, and recently added member of Volusion's Board. "Not only do we look forward to Mozu creating even more waves in the enterprise ecommerce space, but we are very excited about the opportunity to expand Volusion's proven model of success and profitability."
The funds will also be used to further develop the Volusion SMB ecommerce platform, including a new administrative interface and sophisticated theme engine to be released later this year.
"This funding is a major milestone in taking our organization to the next level as we move toward an IPO," said Olivier. "We now have the additional capital injection needed to further disrupt the industry by widely expanding Mozu's modern technology while also better serving the small–and-medium-sized business community with Volusion. We couldn't be more excited about the opportunities in front of us."
