Description

Fruugo is a listing-driven marketplace, where each seller provides a full title, description and images for their products. However, listings are not branded and sellers are not named.

Sellers have the option to list their products on all 23 of Fruugo's global sites and their software can automatically translate listings into 11 different languages. Fruugo also handles overseas customer service.

OnBuy is a UK-based marketplace, which allows sellers to list items in a number of categories. It is a catalog-driven marketplace and listings have a "Buy Now" feature, displaying the seller chosen by OnBuy's algorithm. Other sellers are included lower down the product description page. OnBuy does not hold funds, so as soon as an order is received and the buyer has paid, the payment is available for sellers in their Stripe account.

Amazon

eCRATER is a listing-driven marketplace, where sellers can offer products across a range of categories. All eCRATER sellers get their own store, which they are able to customize. They can choose the layout from a number of templates, personalize the URL and add their own branding. To sell on eCRATER U.S., you must be able to ship your products throughout the country.

Newegg is a global marketplace, and through its Newegg Global program, sellers have the opportunity to sell their products in more than 50 countries. Their fulfillment service, Shipped by Newegg, can handle the picking, packing and shipping of orders.

Walmart

Walmart is a U.S.-based retailer and marketplace offering a large range of different products. There is one listing for each product, so sellers compete directly with other third-party sellers and Walmart themselves. Access to Walmart's marketplace is by application. Sellers are responsible for handling the order process, customer service, and after-sales issues such as returns.
