Web hosting provider GoDaddy has acquired multichannel ecommerce software provider Sellbrite.
GoDaddy has acquired Sellbrite, and is using their technology to power a new Marketplaces feature on GoDaddy's ecommerce platform, which is known as GoCentral Online Store. The new feature allows US-based customers to list and sell their online store inventory through Amazon, eBay, Etsy, Jet, and Walmart.com, all from a single location.
GoCentral Online Store now provides powerful tools and automation to simplify listing, keep inventory in sync, avoid overselling, and centralize order fulfillment across sales channels. Users can also connect existing marketplace listings to their GoCentral Online Store.
"Beyond their own website, entrepreneurs are looking to sell on places like Amazon, eBay, and Etsy to be successful," says Greg Goldfarb, VP of Products, eCommerce and Customer Engagement. "Each marketplace works differently for sellers and it can be a daunting task to get up and running and a huge pain to stay on top of orders and inventory once sales start flowing."

The acquisition supports GoDaddy's overall ecommerce strategy by helping customers sell everywhere and sell anything - physical products, digital goods and services. As part of GoDaddy, Sellbrite will continue to support small business customers on e-commerce other platforms - not just those using GoCentral Online Store. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.
Marketplaces is included in the GoCentral Online Store at no additional charge, allowing sellers to connect up to three marketplaces and process up to 50 orders a month. Upgrade plans are available for additional marketplace connections, higher order volumes, and to sync orders and inventory more frequently.
Multichannel management tool Sellbrite now has its own marketplace where users can find compatible apps.
The Sellbrite App Store showcases apps and integrations built by Sellbrite and partners, that increase productivity and extend the functionality of Sellbrite.
Sellbrite users can access the App Store within their account in the Settings section.
Multichannel management tool Sellbrite has a redesigned listing tool which helps sellers list quickly and easily to multiple sales channels.
Sellbrite now automatically builds Default Templates with recommended "Best Practice" settings to be used for listing.
Sellers only need to:
- Categorize new products added to Sellbrite - products already listed to marketplaces or stores do not need this
- Select which items to list, and which channels to list them to, using a tagging system
- Map any new product categories to the marketplaces' categories
- Publish listings to the channels
The new listing process is available now for Amazon and eBay marketplaces. The process will be rolled out to Etsy, Walmart and Jet in the near future.
Multichannel management tool Sellbrite has joined the partner program for Shopify Plus, the enterprise version of the Shopify ecommerce platform.
Sellbrite will enable Shopify Plus merchants to effortlessly list their products on popular marketplaces, such as Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Jet, and others, as well as provide powerful tools and automation to prevent overselling, optimize fulfillment, and more.

Multichannel management software provider Sellbrite is now a member of the new Amazon Marketplace Developer Council.
The Amazon Marketplace Developer Council - a select group of organizations and software developers that build useful software applications for Amazon marketplace sellers - will provide feedback and advice to improve developer tools used to integrate with the Amazon marketplace.
"By forming the Developer Council, Amazon is showing its commitment towards third-party application developers, who are an important part of the marketplace eco-system," said Brian Nolan, co-founder & CEO of Sellbrite. As a member of the Marketplace Developer Council, Sellbrite will have early access to upcoming products and programs, and will be able to test and provide feedback on new features. Sellbrite will also have input towards the future development priorities for Amazon Marketplace APIs.

Multichannel management tool Sellbrite now supports selling on the Jet.com marketplace.
The integration allows merchants to list inventory for sale on Jet, manage inventory quantities from multiple warehouses, fulfill orders, and process returns.
Other new features in the latest release include:
- USPS SCAN forms, allowing a single barcode to be created for scanning in all shipment pickups in a day.
Support for eBay Guaranteed Delivery, both the handling time and door-to-door options.
Warehouse picklists, making it easier to prepare orders for shipment.
Integration with the Deliverr fulfillment service, which provides an FBA-like fulfillment solution for non-Amazon channels.
Shipping software ShipStation has integrated its ShipEngine APIs with marketplace management system Sellbrite.
Launched in March 2017, ShipEngine technology provides shipping functionality directly to ecommerce stores, logistics and warehouse providers, system integrators, ecommerce application integrators and new application developers.

Multichannel management tool Sellbrite now supports selling on the majority of international eBay and Amazon marketplaces.
The integration with Amazon and eBay in 23 countries allows merchants to keep their inventory in sync across all the marketplaces, as well as leverage multi-channel fulfillment throughout Europe and Canada, in addition to the USA.
With the latest update, Sellbrite also offers inventory and shipping APIs for custom integration. Merchants with their own ERP, inventory, or shipping platform can connect their systems to Sellbrite, syncing inventory and order data in real time. The API can also be setup to receive tracking information from other platforms back into Sellbrite to maintain accurate status updates across sales channels.
Sellbrite users can now customize user roles and limit access to sensitive data. Permissions can be customized for listers, warehouse staff, and data teams, for example.
The Sellbrite dashboard now reflects order activity in real time, as well as listing and item activity.
Sellbrite can now accept custom data attributes. Attributes can be activated individually for each product, and edited in bulk using a CSV file.
Sellbrite has partnered with CrazyLister to give merchants access to professional eBay templates, from within the Sellbrite interface. CrazyLister allows eBay sellers to create their own mobile-responsive eBay listing template, in compliance with eBay's Active Content restrictions going live in June.
New "templates and recipes" functionality in Sellbrite provides a new way to create and manage listings in bulk. It allows sellers to map custom attributes and other inventory data to sales channels in advance, reducing the time needed to create listings.
Finally, Sellbrite has introduced multichannel price synchronization, allowing prices to be changed in Sellbrite and pushed out to every sales channel. Channel-specific pricing rules can automatically set different prices for different sales channels.
Marketplace management tool Sellbrite has partnered with eBay to help bring more marketplace sellers to the eBay platform.
As part of the partnership, Sellbrite will enhance its eBay integration to provide sellers with member-to-member messaging and notifications. Sellbrite will also offer new eBay sellers four months of free service to help them while they build their eBay sales.

Shipping system Shippo is now integrated with marketplace management tool Sellbrite and payment processor Stripe.
Businesses using Stripe or Sellbrite can now purchase shipping labels at discounted rates from Shippo.
After connecting to Shippo, sellers will be able to access discounted USPS shipping rates by default, and rates from other carriers if they connect them to their Shippo account.
To purchase shipping labels, Stripe users can either integrate Shippo's API or log into the Shippo dashboard to process orders that are automatically imported. Sellbrite users, however, can access Shippo directly from Sellbrite to get discounted shipping rates and print labels.
It's free to manage orders and use the Shippo API, customers only pay when they purchase labels.
