Based in the beautiful Fort Point area in Boston, MA, Teikametrics offers services from Sponsored Products optimization to Amazon inventory management. With over 40 employees, thousands of sellers are served through a diverse suite of a la carte and managed services. Teikametrics has started development on the first ever ‘Retail Optimization Platform’, helping cross-channel sellers manage inventory, automate pricing, optimize advertising, and save hours of time a week.
Alasdair McLean-Foreman founded Teikametrics in 2013 after graduating Harvard University with a degree in Economics. In 2003, he became one of the first ever third-party resellers — buying and selling inventory out of his dorm room. Due to the growing complexities of the business, he designed and developed his own software solutions. After seeing an appetite within the market for an all-in-one inventory management system, he decided to bring his solution to market. From there he left selling behind and Teikametrics was born.
The ‘Sponsored Products Optimizer’ is Teikametrics's first step into true retail optimization. The SP Optimizer helps sellers with campaign management, keyword discovery, bid automation, and deep analytics. Through development of robust machine-learning algorithms, tasks that would take Amazon sellers hours and hours a week to complete, can now be done with the single click of a button. Additionally, Teikametrics is the first e-commerce company to implement a new form of bid automation, Value-based bidding. Teikametrics, 14 December 2017
