Liquidation at retail prices

What where the positives?

Not much

Any negatives?

Overvaluing lots

Summary

Bulq seems to think they can get retail price now for most of their lots. The thing is the Manufacturer warranty is null and void if you purchase from Bulq. So for people to keep buying these item at retail prices from them you need to take that into account. The warranty is worth at least 10-25% of the MSRP.

Horrible company

What where the positives?

None

Any negatives?

More than too many to list, but top ones they jack the retail up to sale to you knowing you will have to increase over or about retail, so no to little profit for the reseller. High freight shipping, you might pay more in shipping than the items are worth, and then find they are damaged or missing things. Not very good with manifests and sometime you are missing things from a box they took pictures of in there and on the manifest but they wont give you a refund or work things out with insurance if it was stolen. The market is flooded with the same goods they are reselling in places at what would be a loss for you, they sell on every online outlet and at fleamarkets in the south on top of a storefront in Tn cutting you out even more. They aren't quick about shipping despite the high shipping a week for a box and 2 or 3 to more for a pallet. I had one truck driver push the pallets off his truck because the dock I have uses plates to make the difference and bulq didnt care when I finally heard back. But you can buy with ease anytime is probably their only plus. But they buy from a liquidation company theirselves.

Summary

I can't tell someone what to do but if you do try them just look at the price it costs total and not their suggested retail, go look at real world prices for it resale. And know a lot of it is what they could not move fast their self.

Policies are not Customer Service driven

What where the positives?

The only positive was how easy it was to order and find merchandise.

Any negatives?

First, I received my boxes in good order no damage to the boxes. (I ordered two cases). I was waiting for photographic studio equipment so I waited a week or so to unpack, hang up the clothing. My initial go through found a ripped sweater. Once I started to photograph the items, I noticed missing top metal button closures on the jeans. It was two that had the riveted button missing. I also had a pair of jeans that were ripped. I contacted customer service and sent my manifest and photos of damage, explained my situation. Because I waited two weeks, they are not doing ANYTHING to help me. I ORDERED NEW MERCHANDISE WITH TAGS. I never expected any damage to the clothing.

Summary

Overall, I will find other ways to procure merchandise. This is unsatisfactory Customer Service. I didn't know the policy, because I ordered NEW merchandise. I have ordered new merchandise from other wholesalers and didn't have any damaged clothing. They are not looking to keep customers. STAY AWAY!

But review

What where the positives?

Samantha was the customer service agent I talked with. She messaged back very quickly.

Any negatives?

I have been looking at BULQ for a few weeks and they started a promotion that was buy 3 cases and get one of them shipped for free. So after reading reviews I decided to only buy cases that were new. I just went through the first one. One pair of shoes were 2 different shoes. They retail for $79.99 so I figured I could sell them for $50. The next pair of sandals had a broken strap. The one pair of shoes and an under armour shirt had returned with damage stickers on them. I contacted bulq and they refunded me $7. The case only had about 12 things in it to begin with and now 4 aren’t even able to be sold. I also just started the second box of NEW items and the pair of Levi’s have a huge hole in them and mud on the bottom. So clearly they were worn and returned.

Summary

I will not be ordering again.

Don't buy unsuspected returns from Bulq

What where the positives?

Fast $30 dollar shipping on cases, easy ordering process

Any negatives?

First 3 cases were ok but then it got progressively worst, nothing but junk! Packages missing products, excessively damaged product packaging, excessive clearance tags that are hard to remove, broken items, damaged items, very hard to make a profit on items in these type of conditions. Most of the items in these cases are yard sale material at best. True you are only paying 1 to 2 dollars per item, yes, because that's all they are worth! I agree with other reviews on here that Bulq takes the good Items they purchase from liquidations and sell the public the junk they don't want!

Summary

Don't go by YouTube videos of people unboxing one of these cases claiming you can make a profit on these Bulq unsuspected returns boxes, trust me, you won't, the items you receive will be that bad! 🙁

Nearly $100,000 Spent Through BULQ, Here Is Why We Stopped Sourcing With Them - An In-depth Review

What where the positives?

Itemized lots, as opposed to “mystery” lots

Any negatives?

Negatives listed on overall review

Summary

When we had first heard about BULQ, we thought it might be a great opportunity to source products for our business. Below is an in-depth review of the issues and misrepresentations we’ve encountered since we started sourcing through BULQ. 1. Retail Estimates Are Not As Advertised - The Retail Prices shown for items, cases, and pallets are not always as advertised, and in some instances as we’ve seen, blatantly marked out of proportion in order to encourage buyers to order the lot. We’ve noticed an iPhone 8 marked for $1400, Wired EarBuds marked as $999, and more price markups that don’t match their actual current retail value. 2. Claims - Across 47 Orders since 2019, we’ve needed to file a claim for 43 of those orders. A large amount of those claims had to do with the “most expensive” item in the lot. We had a circumstance where a Case was advertised to include a $2400 brand new 2020 MacBook Pro among other items. We found this to be a great deal considering the cost of the lot was slightly below that price. Instead, we received a used 2010 MacBook Pro with a faulty screen with an estimated resale value of about $100. Their refund calculations are based upon “an internal system” that calculate their wholesale value. The retail value listed for an item will not be an indicator as to how much you’ll receive as a refund for your claim. 3. Jewelry - From our experiences with BULQ, all jewelry comes unmarked, unbranded, and with no tags or signs of authenticity. We only specialize in electronics, so for jewelry items included in the lots we have bought, we found it applicable to take it to our local pawn shop. For an item marked as a $450 retail value, we were told that the jewelry was “costume jewelry” and virtually worthless. 4. “Price Drops” - We’ve noticed a new tactic that BULQ has employed which is greatly misrepresenting their “price drops”. You’ll see a lot that is listed as a 30% price drop with a price of $4000, and a retail value of $4500. That would mean the original price is above the retail price. Apparently this tactic is used so that buyers believe they’re getting a great deal because the price has “dropped” by 30%. 5. Overall Fundamental Values - Given all of the deceptive practices and misrepresentation from BULQ, it is disheartening that a company would look to “prey” on small businesses as a source of income. While we understand the customer service staff does not have direct information into the operational tactics of the business, we have had conversation with a few customer service representatives from BULQ that agree that some of BULQ’s practices “do not look right”. We understand what it takes to build from a small company to a million dollar business. There are no short cuts or deceptive tactics you can take to cheat your way there. Honesty and trustworthiness is more valuable to us than money. We hope that BULQ will understand this fundamental value in the future.

Ruining a great business model

What where the positives?

Relatively cheap shipping compared to the industry as a whole.

Any negatives?

They clearly pick through their loads and remove all the good stuff before putting anything up for sale. I've been doing liquidations of all sorts for years. Shelf pulls, returns, government liquidations, surpluss, etc... It's a pretty solid business if you're sourcing from the right people. That being said, Bulq is the worst liquidation experience I've ever had. Not only were the boxes I received over priced, b (I was willing to pay a little more than normal to give it a try), but the items were complete garbage. I had to sell everything "as is" and ended up losing about $15 bucks off my $300 investment. Not the end of the world, but lesson learned. If you want to make some cash in this business, go big or go local and pick it up yourself. Proxibid and Bstock solutions are fantastic sources, even liquidation.com is a little better than Bulq. If you had a bad experience with these guys, don't give up on the business, there are way better options out there.

What where the positives?

Brand new cases.

Any negatives?

Sometimes poor packaging

Summary

You get brand new items. I have bought 3 cases and a pallet from them. I have definitely made my money back and made a decent profit from them. The thing you have to realize is that you aren’t going to get rich in this industry. Their will be good items and items that you have to sit on. The thing about doing this kind of business is that you have to have more than one way of getting rid of it. I sell on EBay and Amazon and also at my garage sale. We learned awhile back when we owned a thrift store that items will sit on your shelves. I heard once from a very successful online seller and he stated that if you can’t let the item sit and get full price for it then you probably don’t have the money for this type of business. So just stop while your ahead and go back to your 9-5 job. It’s not a sprint but a marathon. Now that hit hard for me and that’s when I changed my philosophy of the way I sold online.

TERRIBLE

What where the positives?

NONE.

Any negatives?

I had a terrible experience with BULQ. It was my first time ordering. I ordered an "uninspected box". I knew that by ordering this, it meant that some of the items might not be in the best shape, etc. When I received my box, I noticed that two main things that I REALLY wanted from the box were not there. The boxes for the items were there, but the physical items were taken out. These items were an expensive razor and tweezer. If I knew those items weren't going to be in the box, I would not have paid so much for the box + $30 shipping! Also, basically everything in the box was spilling out or ruined. Not to mention, I spoke to customer service about this. They were very rude to me and basically told me there was nothing they could do. I asked to speak to a supervisor, but they wouldn't let me. My first experience was not good at all! I would not recommend!

You can some money, but its hard.

What where the positives?

Fast shipping, decent $30 s/h cost for a case. They messed up 2 orders and refunded me some money without a big hassle.

Any negatives?

1:NEVER BUY RETURNS OR SALVAGE. It's 99% junk, and basically you will throw it away, or sell 50% of it as a lot for huge loss. Ive bought 4 uninspected returns cases, never again. I made my money on 2 but it was a gamble (barely made any $$) the other 2 will be losses. 2: Over priced MSRP, for the last 5 months (11/19-5/20) they have had several auctions with mens or boys fur russian bomber hat. The fur is fake, but they value it at $399 each, and add 2-3 per lot. These are $20 in every target nationwide, So the value is wrong. Thats just one example, clothes that say $19.99 and when you receive it says $8.99msrp AND has 5 clearance stickers marked down to $2.49 (that are hard to remove and damage the packaging). They put WAY too many stickers on stuff. 3: Since corona virus, prices have increased. Ive been a used for months and ive noticed my niche area get 50% increase in price. Ive bought in the past several cases for $250-350 and those same cases (i know they cant be identical but trust me i know its close) are now 400-600, and the only ones around $200 are uninspected returns WHICH ARE JUNK. 4: Their auctions arent auctions. You can simply pay $20-50 more than the bid to buy it now. So when you see something starr in auction at 189.99 with a buy it now at 225.00 when you bid 190 someone will just buy it now. Its not an auction, thats a lie and false. 5: A lot that says msrp $3,348 will contain 300 itmes. 200 will be of low quality checkout style junk from the last holiday (so in may you will get easter and st patricks day junk, and so on) thats grossly overpriced (green at patty days trucker hat for$10, target sold for $1 the week after) and those 200 items will be a loss unless you live near people who buy halloween socks at xmas, or easter stuff for july 4th. I get it they sell overstock, but its grossly inflated, and that $3,348 lot will sell for $500-800. Someone will take a bath on that garbage. In closing, if bulq was more honest with prices, msrp prices, and had REAL AUCTIONS, id rate better. But they seem to just want to unload cheap impulse items at full retail to unsuspecting resellers. Be aware you wont make a fortune, hell if you break even with 6 months you're lucky. You wont find a lot that will double of triple your money, its not there.

Summary

Be very careful, eating $400 might be better than having a big box full of junk to throw out on garbage day.

Site is very user friendly and shipping was fast.

Any negatives?

Un inspected returns box was mostly trash, a huge loss. Would not recommend.

Summary

I received a box of un inspected returns today. The shipping was fast, but the box was a complete disappointment. Many of the items had missing components making them impossible to sell or use. I understand that I was taking a risk buying this particular category but the items should have been classified as salvage. Bulq is very deceptive with this category and big ticket items will likely be missing vital components. This was my first purchase and I probably will not buy again.

Uninspected Returns Don't Do It

What where the positives?

Easy website and very fast shipping

Any negatives?

Don't purchase uninspected Returns. 90% of times are salvage and pure trash. They know it too. Seriously who puts a stack of white paper in a bin taped up? They know that's trash. Or two boxes of strength bands clearly ripped open missing the red band in it saying on the manifest it's a $19.99 item. They know it's trash and I can't sell or use it. You haul away their trash. Buy New only.

Summary

They know what they are doing. They jack up the MSRP on the manifest knowing the product is pure trash. Throw in a couple clean items and the rest salvage to get people to buy. I bought once and won't do that again. I'll try NEW maybe.

Getting Really bad

What where the positives?

I like the site format and support has been very nice on the phone and by email.

Any negatives?

This was a good site at one time. Started purchasing merchandise back in January really looked forward in getting started with them, but now, I have Purchased multiple cases within the last month. Pallets cost more to ship now, they have changed the shipping on them to "by weight", that's great if you are close. Ordered a New items case it had been dropped by shipping or Bulq not sure. Everything had "glitter" eye shadow on it. They did me right by refunding most of the cost of the case, support is great. Other two cases where uninspected returns, but like someone said should have been salvaged items, over $200 dollars down the drain, still setting in my storage room. I don't like to look at the manifest its never right. The red tag items may say a $1 or $3 and they mark it $9.99. LOL They have raised the price of their merchandise and as a re-seller it is hard to justify the cost of goods that they are selling now. If you shop with them be very picky. I ordered one more box waiting on delivery now, paid over $250 for it, if it has garbage in it, it will be the last box I buy from them. Soon everything will go back to normal and they will have burned to many bridges. This is a "BUYER BEWARE" site now. I am moving on to finding a new supplier. When you make 20 cents profit on an item after all your costs, I would say, it's time to move on.

Summary

The cost of goods are to high. The quality of goods is getting bad and they have flooded the market with the same items, it's like they too have only one supplier now.

I feel that it went well.

What where the positives?

I ordered 4 boxes last month and just took an auction today. I got my cases quick and had my issue resolved even quicker.

Any negatives?

I ordered uninspected returns and feel they were over valued, but I'm still going to make a profit. Had 4 empty packages, but they refunded me a 5% of my overall order. My auction had a hidden processing fee that took $9 of the $10 I saved from not hitting the buy it now button.

Summary

I like what I got, I will make a profit, though not as much as you feel you'd get looking at the map. And you can see pics and get a good idea what's coming with the easy to read manifest. I'll keep doing business with them.

Stay away! I'll never purchase from Bulq again!

What where the positives?

Quick shipments

Any negatives?

Inaccurate manifests, inadequately wrapped shipments, deceptive hiding of feedback and issues, items not as described, items missing, denial of general consumer rights to get a refund for damages items.

Summary

I have ordered dozens of cases from Bulq. At first, it went alright aside from the occasional missing item or obvious damage to items that occurred in shipping. Customer service would always issue a refund to make it right. I generally would purchase "uninspected return" cases, which means the items are untested. Still, when I received an item that was glass and totally shattered, or an appliance that had obvious damage because Bulq throws fragile items in with heavy items, I would get a refund. As of January 2020, Bulq no longer offers and type of refund for any damage claims on uninspected return boxes. Now, they claim the items were without any guarentee abd you're SOL. That is incredibly deceptive. I've NEVER worked with any retailer/liquidator that wont refund for damages items. In addition, I started sharing these critiques on social media forums and Bulq began to delete my comments and block me!!! Any company that wants to hide negative feedback without assessing concerns is disgusting. I have also received many empty video game boxes and in boxes and the most expensive item missing before. Its NOT worth it. They also have their own Ebay account called Blinq that they use to sell the most expensive items, rather than putting them in liquidation boxes. Dont buy their cherry-picked junk!!!

Burned on first order, but never again

What where the positives?

Customer service was able to cancel the next order I had made before it shipped. They also offered to file a claim for the damages in the case I received, but I declined because the shipping cost as much as the case so there wasn't any point in bothering.

Any negatives?

According to the site's FAQ's, scratch & dent lots are supposed to have been "professionally inspected by BULQ.com technicians and found to have cosmetic issues and/or functionality defects". Well, if they inspected them why didn't they package them somewhat? All the items I actually wanted in the case (Fiesta ware) were just thrown into the bottom of the case without any wrapping or protection at all. Naturally, every single piece was broken and had to go straight to the garbage can. This wasn't supposed to be a salvage lot, but out of the entire case I only managed to save 3 small items - the bottom half of a Fiesta butter dish (no lid), the bottom tier (only) of a multitiered cupcake stand, and a small glass bowl (make unknown).

Summary

I basically paid Bulq.com for the privilege of getting to fill my trash cans up and spare theirs! I think I got about $3, or $4 if I'm generous about it worth of useable products from the entire case. I'm glad I only ordered an inexpensive case to try them out. Burn me once --- and that's that. Never again.

Horrible Experience

What where the positives?

Shipping was relatively quick and not too expensive

Any negatives?

Accuracy of manifest and how they resolve issues

Summary

This is a review of 2 order experiences with BULQ. The first time I ordered, I ordered 3 pallets. One scratch and dent and 2 uninspected returns. I understand what uninspected returns means and it was my huge mistake for ever ordering them. Every box had holes in it where all the hardware fell out during transport and was duct taped closed (not over the holes though). There was only one item that was not previously opened. Everything else was either broken beyond repair or missing parts. It’s like they chose every damaged item and gave it to me. Then the missing items were all high price items. So sure send me the broken cheap trash can but leave out the Miele vacuum, Dell monitor, etc. So I think, ok let’s try this again with brand new items. I mean really what can BULQ do to mess this up. Well they can leave out the 19 items that would sell the best and give a profit. Sure the 11 towels are there but not what really matters. I purchased this case specifically for the laundry sorters. This was the response to my concerns: Thank you for providing this information and I apologize for the issues with this lot! This certainly should not have happened and I understand your frustration. Unfortunately, we are unable to send the laundry sorters that are missing from your order. However, I have submitted a claim for these items. The wholesale value of the units in this claim is $38.95. After reviewing your claim, we have issued a partial refund of $55.00 back to your original form of payment. We have also added in a measure of good will in hopes that you will source from BULQ again soon. This is what BULQ says regarding accuracy: We stand behind the accuracy of our manifests, both in terms of condition and composition. If there is a difference greater than 2%, please email us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will get back to you within 1-2 days with next steps. We aim to resolve all disputes efficiently and fairly. While I am sure BULQ considers this credit to be a fair resolution, I do not. Between this order which was 50% incorrect (ridiculous percentage) and the last horrendous experience I am beyond frustrated. When I order a case of 38 items, I expect more than half to be delivered. It seems a bit like fraud to me. BULQ responded with this:Hi! We appreciate your feedback and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this has caused! Please reach out to us if you have any questions! I reached out to them when I had the problem. They would not take the merchandise back. I understand that returns would be a huge issue for them. However, when there is a 50% error, I believe exceptions should be made. I wanted a full refund or the missing items. I was told no for both.

Beware and do Plenty of Research, There are better companies

What where the positives?

Shipping time was decent and as stated

Any negatives?

I made 5 purchases and 2 out of 5 were bad, 1 was a total loss

Summary

I contacted support only to find out their 2% accuracy policy is sugar coated. The reality of what their policy is - I bought a Brand New Pallet with a retail of $9800, paid $950. Upon opening the pallet I found that 6 bottles of liquid laundry soap had broken and leaked all over everything. I had roughly $6800 in damaged goods that I was unable to clean up and resale, when I made my claim they take the "per item" price and multiply it by however many damaged items you have regardless of the original retail of the damages. They offered me $68 and some change for my damages. That is 1% of original retail. In the end I paid $950 of about $3,000 worth of product which at that ratio is difficult to turn a profit on. I was looking forward to getting to do business with this company because by all means it looks great but I can not take a chance of losing another pallet and then being insulted by a $68 refund. They are not in the business of retaining customers, they are only looking for a new sucker every day. *Also beware of inflated prices on the "original" retail value. I had bought a few boxes and several items were unmarked knock offs from China that had incredibly inflated retail prices. Another example was a box that had a clearly marked $1 item from target listed as $479 original retail just to mark up the value of the box, when i messaged the company regarding that large error they gave a lame excuse that they aren't responsible for errors...that is a big error and ethically they should have held themselves accountable. There are other companies out there, keep looking and by all means PLEASE Google Bulq Pallet reviews and seek out the honest bad reviews before you waste your money.

Order of a case of new items

What where the positives?

I had ordered a case of new items, but there was a problem when I received my order. There was a container of OxyFresh in the bottom of the box that had popped open and gotten detergent in EVERYTHING. I took pictures and filed a claim with Bulq. They got back to me within a day to ask for pictures (I had forgot to upload them with my claim). As soon as I sent the pics in, it was less than a day and they had refunded the order. Very polite and professional. I didn't know what to expect because I had heard horror stories from other people...but Bulq made it right.

Bulq.com pallet purchase review

What where the positives?

Good products to resell came in about 12 days

Any negatives?

Bulq could have put security tape on my box like I see in the videos on youtube I think that would help deter thieves. Came open and missing 6 items which my guess was the local drivers.

Summary

Support was great! Just like the guarantee, they refunded my missing items. Marisa was very professional and explained everything to me so I, a newbie, could understand what it was that I needed to do. Will order again for sure!

This company should be embarrassed. I wish I could upload pictures of the disgusting shipment I received yesterday. Among the items going straight to the trash are used iPhone earbuds that have earwax on them and a split cord, a cloth doll covered in dirt and snot, a duvet cover with hair (human, maybe?), and I could go on. This company is an absolute disgrace, and I don’t know how they continue to operate. I wish I could get my money back. I don’t even want to contact customer service, I just want this garbage out of my house.

Summary

There is nothing good that comessage from this company. Even like new products come broken, damaged and not functional. Gives you the run around for a refund then tells you they will not refund you because it was not claimed in 7 days. "Bridget" provides horrible customer service and I would suggest buying from other wholesale sites. Shipping is also absolutely the worst, items arrive damaged, it took 3 weeks to receive product. Also, had to take off of work just to receive it. Again, told me submit a claim so I did then after running me around and no reply they decide that now it's too late. They pulled this stunt with 2 pallets I purchased. I am filing a claim againot this company through the better business Bureau.

SALVAGE - Misleading conditions

What where the positives?

N/A

Any negatives?

Summary

They were very good at taking my money. The time it took for them to actually ship item was a week, took a second week for common carrier to deliver. Listed as MSRP of over $3600. That was correct, but over 70% of the pallet was salvage only worthy of a senior citizen garage sale or free stuff to the needy. They need to mark the un-inspected returns as SALVAGE, I hate to see what the salvage pallets look like. This will be my first and last from BULQ (PS, i think a few of the you tube viewers are on payroll, their reviews are misleading of actual products delivered)

Very Misleading and Dishonest Operation

Summary

Do yourself a favor and avoid BULQ at all costs. They play many games to trick people into buying their junk that nobody wants and that is virtually worthless. Manifest condition notes is one common area they exploit. They might have a manifest that has condition notes on 20%-30% of the items such as "missing accessories", or "scratches on screen". For the higher dollar items which many of us are looking for, they leave the condition notes empty and all of those items arrive unsalable with major damage and major components missing. So now you are stuck with their garbage with no recourse. The photos of the items are laughable. "Uninspected Returns" are a joke as well. Many of these manifests also have bogus condition notes. Wait a minute, how could they know the condition of the items if they are truly uninspected? Again, very dishonest and misleading. I have made a profit on maybe 1/3 of everything I have bought from them in the last couple of years so I am not buying from them anymore. Stay away from these clowns everyone. They won't be around long doing business this way.

Summary

I have purchased 8 to 10 orders from BULQ and at first they seemed OK. But the last 3 to 4 orders have consistently had major problems with damages, severe shortages, and intentionally misleading manifests. One order clearly stated that I would receive 12 units of a particular item, which is the only reason I purchased the box, and I received one unit. This last order I received today clearly stated on the manifest items in which I only received parts of, or didn’t receive at all. When I contact Bulq they would award a ridiculously minuscule refund. I have read a fair amount of positive reviews from BULQ customers who obviously haven’t been burned yet. Not sure how these Bulq employees sleep at night, but I suspect ethics aren’t their concern so I would guess they sleep peacefully with my money. It takes a great deal of BS for me to complain as I can live with anything remotely fair, but that’s not how Bulq does business. Please find a more reliable, ethical, and professional source.

0 Stars Beware of buying anything from Bulq. They are able to legitimately *** buyers. They sell junk/garbage from Target and other retailers and state that its returns. You and I buy there junk which they would need to pay to dispose it!!! Do not fall for it. I have bought almost every condition from Bulq new/like new has always had a missing or broken item. They claim they have a 98% accurate manifest guarantee, yet the item missing/broken will be the most expensive item in the lot. So pretty much your at a loss. High end watch retailed at $400 was swapped out with a a cheap invicta watch. High end handbag was swapped out with a Chinese basic bag smelled like polyurethane and had to throw it away (who is doing the inspecting??? Scratch and dent means really means heavily used and damaged that it was no way a customer return. More like something that was used in there office or some retailer had laying around. Uninspected returns means garbage and junk, broken glass, damaged items. missing parts to things you dont even know whats its for. Things that you cannot even donate. The MSRP is always inflated and inaccurate. when I called and emailed and they always gave me the runaround or gave me a low partial refund and closed the case. I will never buy from Bulq again. You have been warned here and by many other buyers.

Quick and satisfactory customer service

Summary

I read and watched plenty of reviews online about Bulq and decided a lot of the negative reviews were probably from people trying to get rich quick without the business sense to know what they were actually buying. (Warning: if you’ve never sourced this way before, you might be setting yourself up for a loss. You learn and that’s the nature of business.) After a fantastic and profitable experience with my first case, I ordered a much more expensive one just a few days later. To my displeasure, it arrived with extensive shipping damage. A lot of the items were not going to be sellable. I took photos immediately and sent an email to customer service. Their response was quick, they asked me for item numbers of the affected products, and within minutes, I had a generous partial refund on the lot, calculated based on the items I deemed unsellable. I was not expecting a full refund (a lot of the box was fine) and was actually surprised I didn’t have to deal with more than one person or argue with anyone. I don’t think I’ve ever had a customer service interaction go so well. Bulq has managed to make a repeat buyer out of me again. They seem to honor their guarantee.

I ordered an electronics lot that cost almost $2000. These items were to be like new. Many items are damaged, missing power supplies, CD Drivers, even dog feces on inside styrofoam packaging. Broken pixels on monitor, missing memory cards, chipped paint on camcorders, just to name a few. I contacted them and apparently you only have 7 days to return. When someone purchases huge shipment, there is NO way to test items in 7 days. Get this, they divide the number of items by the cost to get your CPI. Apparently, I paid $33 a piece for about 8 coxial Cable wall mounts that cost about .99 at Lowes. This place is a joke! Ill be posting a Youtube video for sure. Steer clear of these thieves!

I was missing three things out of the box the three things that I wanted to purchase the box for. Also all of the unknown items in the Box were marked Salvage. They were not reusable. It was very misleading because how they listed things in the Manifest covered up for all the awful things they sent. I will not be doing business with book.com anymore that was my first and last time. I called them to try to get reimbursed and there was a bunch of paperwork and everything else that I needed to do and it wasn't worth the very small amount of money I was going to get back. I used to purchase pallets of "Scratch and Dent" monitors with BULQ. Many times, the items are terribly packaged (i.e. they would literally put a monitor into a box without any bubble wrap or having bubble all over the place except wrapping the units), and they used to be willing to reimburse me the difference for shipping damages. I understand the items were in "Scratch and dent" but that doesn't include obvious shipping damages! They are not what they used to be, and they will promptly deny your claim. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE

What where the positives?

Nothing. They sent me goods that were broken. 90% of the items were broken. They also charged me for a fee which they could not explain. And, all the items listed on the manifest were not delivered; I was missing 4, and 1 of the 4 was the most expensive item listed on the manifest. They did reimburse me roughly 25% of what I paid; but, it was after many emails and a report to the BBB. 25% was not even close to what they should've reimbursed me. It just about put my small business under.

Any negatives?
