Avoid, or if a current customer, QUIT.

What where the positives?

Like others, I have touted their service for years; even though there was a monthly subscription, I found it was worth it, as all my dealings were seamless (I said WERE/used to be).

Any negatives?

Ever since the Stamps.com merge, they have gone from a 4/5 star rating to ZERO. They CHEAT on your billing with "funny math" (I had to dispute TWICE with my bank), have serious tech issues with some features that are supposed to make transaction easier (like the scan forms always glitching) AND their customer service STINKS - templated responses to your online messaging, only to advise that YOU CALL THEM, which results in LONG hold times and multiple attempts to get someone who knows what they're doing.

Summary

I have since switched to a FREE service (check out all the competitors, there are MORE now than before) whose postage and insurance rates are LOWER. So why stick with these goons?!?

Terrible customer service

What where the positives?

once integrated easy to buy postage

Any negatives?

Worst customer service of almost any service I have used. 2 transfers and 5+ hours wait to talk to a 3rd person. All this because they locked my account from buying more shipping because we bought a lot of shipping credit last week! No phone call, no text message, or even e-mail to say they were doing this, or to let it confirm it was you. just next time we to to buy postage it gives an error message to call customer service. they have no call auto call back so you have to wait on hold, and each person you talk to has to move you to another department because they know whats wrong but cant remove the hold.

Summary

software works OK once you can get the right version and get it set up. (good luck) I recommend stay away from them FYI they also handle stamps accounts, so find a better option.

Endicia for Mac is a sinking ship

What where the positives?

Nothing.

Any negatives?

Everything.

Summary

Like other reviewers here, I was a happy Endicia customer for 10+ years, using Endicia for Mac software. As soon as they were acquired by Stamps.com, software stopped working properly, and it appears that there is no longer any meaningful support for Mac users. Both email and phone support are completely useless. When the desktop software stopped working properly for me, I tried turning to the website-based services, but found those to be even worse with constant errors in all browsers that I tried. It's sad to see what was one of the few really good companies decline so dramatically.

Horrible.

What where the positives?

The online version produces a barely-passable envelope when it works.

Any negatives?

I was with Endicia before Stamps.com bought them. They were troublesome then, but worse now. It's about 50/50 whether my account can be validated. Customer service is extremely poor. Long waits, staff not knowledgeable. The envelopes and labels are not professional looking.

Summary

Using Endicia is the worst part of my day. All I want is an envelope with a stamp on it. What I usually get is about 2 hours of frustration.

They FORCE you to use Stamps.com which has NO Mac version. I can't connect to my USB scale anymore but must replace it with a Stamps.com scale. Endicia was a formerly good solution for small offices until they were bought by Stamps.com BEWARE

PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

What where the positives?

Formerly a good company to work with. We were with them for 10+ years.

Any negatives?

We have been with Endicia since 2010. No previous problems. About a month ago I had $75.00 left in my account but it gave me an error and said there were not enough funds to print a $10.00 shipping label. I added $400.00 to my account and instead of $475.00, it told me I now had $390.00. On 7/31/20, I had $215.34 in account and printed $10.45 shipping label and new balance after printing label was $138.77. I have now checked running balances. Today, I had $306.46 in account. Printed a $10.45 label and the new balance remaining in account was $195.90. I have called customer service 4 times in the last week and have spent more than 6 hours on hold, and have yet to reach anyone. I have left voice mails, sent emails and they simply will not get back to me. My next course of action is the BBB or Attorney general.

Summary

Unless you have money to lose, please stay away from this company. You will receive ZERO assistance if you ever have an issue.

Any negatives?

Their customer support is SO Horrible it may actually be worse than Non Existent. You will sit on hold for Hours while being ignored. They have to be hemorrhaging customers because you cannot survive treating customers like they do. Stay as far away from this company as you possibly can.

Dishonorable company

What where the positives?

The software they had was great. Then they decided to change things up and it is a disaster.

Any negatives?

I closed my account which had nearly a $200 credit balance and they have promised a refund but have not honored it. They told me within 6 weeks I would receive it, I waited 8 weeks, then contacted them again. They gave me the run around so I submitted a complaint on BBB, I was promised that they sent a check and now over a week later, there is still no reimbursement.

Summary

Avoid them ... if you don't believe me or disagree with me, read their ratings by hundreds of people online and check out the Better Business Bureau. While they have a good rating READ THE REVIEWS. It is very telling.

Horrible, stay away

What where the positives?

Nothing lately

Any negatives?

Buggy software that no one can fix since Stamps took over

Summary

I started with Endicia in 2004 and have since printed $184,376.53 worth of postage. Since stamps.com bought them in 2015 it has been downhill ever since. NOTHING can describe their poor tech support and software now that stamps took over. Funny enough, I left Stamps.com in 2004 exactly because of those same issues. I cannot state it strongly enough STAY AWAY, and if you're with them now you will be finding something else soon.
