SCAM DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME

What where the positives?

Nothing positive to say

Any negatives?

I made an order that was supposed to be delivered March 18, 2023 when I did not see that had been mailed out I sent an email and was told they had higher than normal volumes of orders and my shipment would be mailed out on 19 March 2023 today is the 20th of March 2023 and it still has not been shipped and I cannot reach anyone. I feel they have stolen my money and I will get nothing in return.

Summary

I would not recommend these people to anyone do not send them your money. Do not waste your time they are scammers.

What where the positives?

Nothing positive

One thing to mention is the estimated shipping placed on my 1st and last auction bid I did and will do. Estimated shipping was over $150 so I kept that in mind when bidding. After closing, I won and the shipping went to over $500. That's unacceptable and of course no way to get a hold of anyone in support until Monday. One other thing was I never saw anything about payment options. I believed when I put my CC info in that would be how I would be paying not PayPal or wire money. I will not be wiring any money without getting merchandise. I wish I had read reviews before registering for this site. I have no clue what the outcome will be but I felt this seller Salvage Sony was receptive.

I bought 8 iphone 12 pro max from liqudation.com they show good iphone on the picture, when I receive the item they were all broken and Icloud locked. When I dispute the transaction I have to send bunch of photo/video. After waiting for amonth or two they agreed to refund me of 64 out of 1600 I bought. When I contact them they told me they have missing phone and 3 of them are damage. That's what they send me a damage phone they listed as fully functional but not. It a totally waste of money.

Summary

I would not RECOMMAND anyone buying anything from this company. They support scammer and they scam us as consumers. Lesson learn!

Scammed by Liquidation.com

What where the positives?

-Easy to setup an account and navigate the website. -Easy to place order. -Vendor accepted payment without issue.

Any negatives?

Product was misrepresented on the website. -Product description that I purchased was un-manifested customer RETURNS from a national retailer. -What I received was envelopes/packages with printed USPS shipping labels with tracking information indicating that none of the packages were ever provided to USPS for an attempt at delivery. All shipping labels had different 'ship from' addresses and few different Pitney Bowes accounts, but included the same printing defect on the label indicating that they were all printed on the same machine. -It appears that the vendor purposely packaged miscellaneous paper products for the purpose of misrepresenting the items as customer returns. For example, one package had five (5) paper collapsible popcorn containers, another package had two (2) small stickers that said 'Awesome' and 'Great'. I believe that this is a scam being purported by a vendor on their platform. My response from Liquidation.com was worse. I attempted to contact Liquidation.com via email (there was no phone number) about my issue with the vendor on their platform. I received a generic email from Liquidation.com indicating no returns, no refunds, as is, etc. They subsequently deactivated my logon credentials to their site, so I could not obtain the listing details to dispute with my credit card..

Summary

I believe that this is a scam being purported by a vendor on their platform. My response from Liquidation.com was worse and indicated to me that Liquidation.com are complicit in this activity.

Flee Market Stuff, Not for Retail Stores

What where the positives?

Low Auction Price

Any negatives?

5 out of 6 Shipments look nothing like the images. The show new up to date items in the apparel pictures. But the stuff that arrived was more seasons behind I mean like 2 years this stuff was in season. If the images were of what I was actually buying I would have never bought these things.

Missing Pallets, No Help Recovering

What where the positives?

Site was easy-to-use

Any negatives?

No tracking number provided, no willingness to help find missing pallet. Their basic response was basically, "Too bad. So sad."

Summary

I ordered 2 pallets from Liquidation.com (my first), and I have had a number of issues getting my shipment. First, the shipment was a month late, but this is probably because Fedex Freight tried to deliver it somewhere in Baltimore (I'm in Louisiana). I called UPS Freight, and the woman I spoke to was able to help me find out where my pallets were and give me information on it, including the tracking number (which was not provided to me when I ordered my pallets). She also told me that Liquidation.com is notorious for not labeling shipments correctly and that you might get what you ordered, and you might not. Fast forward to when I receive my shipment, and I get one of the 2 pallets I ordered. I asked the UPS guy about it, and he said they only received the one. I did not sign anything but let them leave the one pallet I received in my garage since the guy had to walk it down my street. So, someone at UPS kept helping me try to locate the second pallet, but they never were able to. After 2 weeks, they finally told me to file a dispute so that Liquidation.com can get in touch with UPS to find out what happened. But, they won't do that. Liquidation.com says I signed for the shipment (which I did not), and that basically they weren't going to even try to find out what happened to my missing pallet. They don't care that I spent $1200 (most of which being shipping) to receive half of what I ordered. Do not waste your money. They do not care about you.

Buyer Beware

What where the positives?

none

Any negatives?

I am new to the reselling world but after researching and weighing the risks I decided to take a chance on ordering from Liquidation.com. I ordered a pallet of customer returns, having researched and talked to other people who have ordered from them I felt confident that I would be able to at the very least get my money back and possibly make a few bucks. I figured it would be a learning experience and I was aware that I was taking a risk that I would be getting a percentage of items that would be used or possibly not working. Most people that I talked to said that I could count on around 10 to 20% of items being used condition or possibly not working. I felt that I would be ok and would still at the very least make my money back and also get an idea of what to expect on future orders. After receiving the pallet I would say that maybe 50% of items are resalable if that. One item was a damaged open box that had a toaster oven in it that was probably 10 years old - total loss, I received 4 microwaves none of which worked at all 2 were destroyed (falling apart) and 1 was not working and 1 was an old microwave that was thrown in a box that had not insides and was like a Walmart $50.00 microwave when it was new. The rest of the pallet was air fryers half of which did not work. Total loss! I think I maybe have 5 items that I was able to resell and they were cheap air fryers. Spent $900.00 all in. I called customer service because I felt that the listing was misrepresented, I bought a customer return pallet NOT a salvage pallet! I feel like I got 80% salvage and that it not an exaggeration. They told me that was the risk that you take and that they could put in a claim but that the sellers would not do anything about it. I feel like I was 100% misled and I will not be doing business with them again. I caution anyone thinking of buying from this company that you will not get what you pay for. I knew I was taking a chance but as I stated above, this was a salvage pallet not a customer return pallet. Lesson Learned!

Never again

Pictures show 8 oz received 2 oz

What where the positives?

no

Any negatives?

The auction had a manifest: 50 pcs of Bliss Fat Girl Scrub New. Issue #1: Received 50 pcs and they were the trial size 2 oz which is normally sold in a box with 2 bliss 2oz products, not the full size 8oz as shown on the pictures. It also did not come in the box. Any item considered "new" must have all pieces including the box if applicable. Pictures and research show the item is sold in a box. The seller misrepresented the size of the item and condition. I received like new condition not new. Issue #2: Received 25 pcs of Bliss Fat Girl Scrub and another 25 pcs of some other Random Bliss Fat Girl Sleep product. Not included in the manifest. Missing other 25 pcs of Bliss Far Girl Scrub. Issue #3: Photos under in the listing were extremely blurry and did not show the FL oz. The listing has photos of the full 8oz size with the box. However, I did not receive the full size instead received 2oz without the box. Liquidation.com failed to grant a full refund due to the multiple deceptive practices used by their third party seller and failed to provide a full refund. I disputed the charge with my bank and liqudation.com will be deactivating my account. I knew this prior to dispute and I am okay with never using the company again. Reporting to proper authorities for the failure to do the right thing when I express concerns regarding the falsely advertised and deceptive transaction. Which btw is illegal and I can sue and request treble damages! Tip: Learn about the deceptive trade practices act before conducting business.

Summary

Overall do not recommend. If you suffer worse issues please sue them.

Summary

I have purchased some good products from them and as long as you can pickup you are relatively safe. You need to inspect your items carefully. Do not accept them if you are not happy. The descriptions from one warehouse to another are very different. I do not think any training went into the grading of the products. If you run into a problem look out! The customer service is poor at best. I am shocked by the rudness and horrible attitude of them. Like the other reviewer wrote "they make a decision and thqat is it". Well it does not have to be but if you dispute it on your credit card they suspend you from the site. The decision makers hide behind email addresses and get to you when they feel like it.. There professional packing is a joke! Don'ttake my word for it but watchout if you don't you'll be in hear sharing your experience next. Good Luck

Highly accessible yet buyer unfriendly bulk auction site.

Summary

I have been using Liquidation.com for more than a year with mixed results. I tend to be a conservative auction attendee, and yet still manage to be on the losing end of this auction websites decisions during dispute processes. Of the five auctions I have won, I found that two where not as advertised/missing items. That is bad enough but the resolution process was slanted in favor of the seller both times. If you plan to bid be sure to keep in mind the quantity variance listed on the auction, because if you have a quantity dispute the variance will be taken into account against you automatically. That means you (the buyer) are never going to see this merchandise. The process also has no appeal so once Liquidation.com makes a decision you are stuck with whatever they decide. On the pro side you do not need a resale or tax id number to make purchases like some wholesale auction websites. The website is easy to use although the search software is a bit quirky.
