Worked well until they changed policies and it no longer works with ShipperHQ unless you pay more.

What where the positives?

Worked great until recently

Any negatives?

They now charge extra if you don't use ShipStation carriers - which ShipperHQ does not support.

Summary

With the recent major price hike (230% for us), I do not recommend.

Lousiest customer service i have ever seen.

What where the positives?

None

Any negatives?

If I could give a zero I would. They have absolutely no interest in customer support. They offer no phone number and, in doing so, hide so they don't have to communicate with you. If you ask a question or pursue an issue using their "live chat" feature, you only get standard canned responses that have nothing to do with what you asked. They absolutely could not care less.

Summary

Horrible, totally user unfriendly

BEWARE

What where the positives?

There are no positives

Any negatives?

Worst service ever and will bill you randomly for printing a prepaid label.

Summary

This place is a total rip off. I have shipped items for years through PayPal and when I went there to print a prepaid label to send a gift to a friend, I was sent here. I will never use them again. Even after printing the label they billed me again for some shipping agreement. I would stay completely away and use the one in the OFFICIAL post office in the future.

Summary

I’ve been using ShipStation now for a couple of years and it’s made a massive difference to my business. I’d heard people talking about ShipStation as a possibility for managing orders from CrateJoy and Shopify so I had a look. The ShipStation team helped me get set up and connect my first store and carrier. The online videos were really useful too. One problem we had was separating out our different orders from different sites, for example if something needed to be personalised or just got straight through to pick and pack. I love that we can tag orders with different colours. Now we have a colour for each status of order and then filter them, so that we get the orders out quickly and correctly. So when we run our subscriptions from CrateJoy through to ShipStation we can then filter for which subscription product it is and which country it's going to, and then print the labels for those. We now have four CrateJoy stores, two Shopify stores, eBay store, and an Etsy store all running through ShipStation. We can import orders from other places via CSV when we need to as well. I often recommend ShipStation to other sellers, especially when people are talking about the challenges of managing orders across a number of channels and using different carriers.

Summary

We had tried ShipStation for 2 reason - the automation rules and the only shipping solution that integrated with a marketplace we sell quite a bit on. There are several things that caused us to go back to our prior shipping solution. 1. Orders missing items. No way to add them (see number 5). 2. Automation rules, my main reason for trying them, do not work consistently, even the simple ones. So we still have to check to make sure orders are processed correctly. 3. An order was not imported at all causing a customer issue. 4. Order search functionality does not work consistently. We have to use several different ways to find the tracking number or other information for an order. 5. You cannot modify any orders imported a marketplace. That's nuts as customers sometimes add items or change the size, etc. 6. You cannot duplicate an order. 7. No order status - only a hold. 8. Pick list is not customizable. They put the quantity on the far right with the SKU on the far left. It is easy to miss on the pick list that more than quantity one was needed. This causes us to go back and get another item. 9. They do not allow shipments to Russia. It is a small but important market for us. I outlined this to my personal representative asking where the value was and never received a response. When I brought some of these issues earlier, they blamed it on the marketplace's API. That was B.S. since Teapplix (which I still have active) had no problem. She wanted me to call Amazon about the missing items issue. I finally outlined it was not an Amazon problem and also reminded her it wasn't proper to ask paying customers to debug their software. This was a very disappointing experience. It could be a great solution if their advertised functionality worked correctly AND they finished debugging their software. They have been around for awhile now and should have corrected these issues.

Shipstation.com Gets it. As a trusted solution provider and ecommerce consultant my clients expect nothing but the best from me and I found the best in ShipStation. They have the most comprehensive connectivity with the marketplaces new and old and their platform is so sophisticated that makes it simple to work with and it is also very user friendly and intuitive. They are simply the best when it comes to features, service, automation, and pricing. They would be even better if they can offer live phone support to the subscribers. Get started now and test drive the system free for a month. No credit card needed. :D:D:D

Shipstation is amazing and time saving! We're able to ship products 10x faster than we did before. Love it! Unfortunately, we received the best service *before* we signed up for the service-- during our trial period. After we signed up for the monthly subscription, we never received a response to our questions from the account manager. Definitely test out the platform and ask ALL of your questions during your trial to get the best and most attentive service.

Our account has been broken for over half year

Summary

We have been using shipstation for years and have processed hundreds of thousands of orders through their system. For the most part for the first segment of our relationship everything ran fairly smooth and when there was problems they were taken care of. One time we had to talk to the owner and go back and forth but in the end it was resolved. Unfortunately since the company was quietly bought out by stamps.com the company as gone downhill. Our account has had nothing but glitches for over a half year which has cost us countless dollars in lost time. When we contact their tech support and CS they completely ignore what we tell them and use robot responses. Their search engine is broken. When we type anything we sell into the search field it does not populate the search. They want us to send them a video of that because they are robots. Sending a video is utterly worthless as what does it help to visualize typing in a search parameter and it does not work? They wanted to know our protocols which I told them and they never fix any issues. I had meetings with our account rep which was nice but could never get anything accomplished. After dealing with incompetent CS representatives and we told them their robot responses might as well of been as bad as talking to a wall and more they then treated us poorly and tried to treat us like a child. We ship 600+ orders a day and run a successful eCommerce business and to deal with a company that acts so childish is preposterous. We will be leaving them but not in haste. We gave them too many chances to redeem themselves but they only keep further proving that they are a bunch of nincompoops. It is too bad when a company sells out to a large company that then ruins the entire operation. Do not let them fool you by their shiny tools. They are the worst of the worst. So much lost time and energy.. We tried so hard to work it. Sad customer.

Summary

Shipstation is definitely number one shipping solution for any online sellers . They have integration with almost all marketplaces you can imagine from amazon to newegg, groupon to bonanza etc. If you are able to use any inventory manager that integrates with them, just go with them. You can easily categories your orders, can do most things in bulk which saves tons of time . edit your packing slip and send tracking emails to your customers. and their prices are very fair . Since first month is free, you should definitely give them a chance. i really missed them because my current inventory management is not integrated with them 🙁

Shipstation- The best Decision We have Made

Summary

We started with Shipstation a year ago. We get the volume savings on USPS shipments, and shipment plus order management. They upgraded the platform but still maintain two products the old interface, and the new interface. Things are evolving and they are constantly improving it. There are a few minor tweaks that I think should be implemented, however overall this is a great system. As you grow you can scale the service up or down, even seasonally as needed. This is a great option for sellers. It saves us a lot of time and still we have not implemented every level of order automation possible with it. Support vi chat is good but you need a higher volume plan to get online chat support. For the price and what it does, ship station is a great product. I think it is the best standalone product of is kind. I think more of the inventory management systems should just integrate with Shipstation and let them handle what they do best.

It's been over a year since we started to use shipstation to organize the orders and print out the shipping labels. I have to say that shipstation is the best company I've ever worked with and it reduced so much work for us. The technical support resolves problems always in timely manner. Subscribing to shipstation is the best investment we've ever made. It totally changed our life and no more tedious copy &paste addresses! I highly recommend shipstation!

Best shipping software i ever use

Summary

I run a fairly high volume low margin web business selling on 5 channels. After using various shipping software and Shipworks being the last one, I have finally found the one that fits all my needs. Shipstation is total web based, so I can use it anywhere and their interface is very simple and efficient. Due to the volume, it is all about automation and simplicity for me. Shipstation was very user friendly to pick up and I was literally off and running within one hour. After signing up the free Endicia and Express1 account, I did some configuration on the shipping labels and start downloading orders. It was pretty easy and had no issues. On amazon orders, it download all the weights given by Amazon and even had pictures of the SKU in each order. After adjusting the weights (it will remember weight by SKU), I process my first batch. It verify all the address and split out any errors such as missing weight, no zip code, address too long, etc. After fixing errors, you can print out the shipping labels in 4x6 or whatever format you would like. It also allow you to print out the packing slips and a pick list for that batch for easy processing. The pick list even have pictures and optional location info if you setup that part. I have found the pick list to be a life saver and it also works as sort of an error checker for me. Regarding extra features, I will go over couple of them that I use: 1) Shipstation has built in filters for international orders and by different channel. I had to do some reading to create filters for priority and multiple SKU orders. You can combine filters into automation rules. 2) There are bunch of reports you can print out and run on the fly or download them into PDF. I use some of the reports and is quite nice. 3) There is a loading dock feature where you can drag multiple orders for processing. It is actually quite ingenious and i found lot of uses for it. All and all, I am very happy with Shipstation. I figure it has save me at least 1 to 2 hours a day in shipping and decrease my shipping errors dramatically. It is truly amazing how much thought was put into each feature and how every effort was made to make this software easy to use and user friendly.
