Tradebox Finance Manager, a tool which imports orders from eBay.co.uk and Amazon.co.uk into the Sage accounting system, can now import data from a seller's own web store.
The new web store import routine, enables users to map required fields of information from a CSV file into Tradebox, then synchronize and import orders into Sage 50 Accounts, automatically creating Customers Records, Invoices/Orders, Sales Receipts and depleting stock.
Platform One, authors of eBay solution Tradebox Finance Manager, won awards at North East England's first Digital Awards ceremony, held in Newcastle on 15th of May.
Tradebox won awards for Best Software Solution, and Platform One went the overall Best Digital Supplier award.
Tradebox Finance Manager is a accountancy plug-in for UK online sellers, automatically transferring buyer and transactional data from eBay, Amazon, and the vendor's own websites into Sage 50 Accounts. Tradebox also provides online sellers with a system to process orders, print invoices, pick and dispatch products, deplete stock, and reorder supplies.
Tradebox, a tool which imports orders from online marketplaces into the Sage accounting package, now supports both Amazon and eBay.
This latest development, designed for Amazon Pro-Merchant Sellers, allows the user to import orders en masse via the Order Report File issued by Amazon, automatically creating customer records, invoices and depleting stock in Sage 50. In addition, Tradebox keeps track of Amazon orders to be shipped and assists the user to compile the Order Confirmation File for upload back to Amazon.
Additional features version 3 include Address Label Printing, increased speed, name and address casing options, sales conversion ratios and improved Microsoft Office integration.
Tradebox Finance Manager for eBay Sellers now has the ability to import orders from Amazon, as well as eBay.
This feature addresses the needs of many online businesses that sell across both platforms and wish to account for their online sales quickly and accurately.

The latest version of Tradebox, a tool which integrates eBay.co.uk sales with the popular Sage accounting package, has a new look dashboard with more management information.
The new dashboard includes conversion ratios of sales against listings, sales summary for last quarter, download summary, and buyer summary. There are also a number of new analysis reports providing statistical information on eBay sales.
Tradebox (ChannelAdvisor Edition) integrates transactional and customer data from e-commerce solution ChannelAdvisor directly into Sage Line 50.
Tradebox has also been enhanced so users can rapidly create product records in Sage, from listings that have been launched using Turbo Lister, Selling Manager Pro or eBay File Exchange and incorporate a Stock Keeping Unit (SKU) code within the Custom Label Field.
eCommerce solution Marketworks now supports Amazon.com’s Merchants program, giving its customers access to the largest online retail market.

Window and Mac auction management tool MarketBlast has been acquired by Acclivity from owners 4D. MarketBlast broke the mould for auction management tools when it was launched a year ago, by charging a one-off $99 fee for a sophisticated tool that uses the eBay API.
Acclivity is the exclusive US republisher of the MYOB small business accounting and management software line for Macintosh and Windows platforms.
Accounting and tax software company Intuit has released a version of its TurboTax software specifically for eBay sellers - TurboTax for eBay Sellers. The program includes all the features of TurboTax Premier plus a step-by-step guide to preparing US federal and state tax returns, including Schedule C (for income from online selling and other businesses). The software includes free help via phone from eBay-savvy tax experts.
ChannelAdvisor Merchant has a number of enhancements for UK sellers, including integration with Sage Instant Accounts, integration with the Optimal Payments credit card processing system, and automatic Best Offer processing (also for France).
A beta version of "eBay Accounting Assistant" can be downloaded for free by Selling Manager and Seller's Assistant subscribers. The new tool exports information about eBay and PayPal transactions into QuickBooks, a popular accounting package for small businesses. Data that can be exported includes sales information, eBay fees and credits, eBay-related PayPal fees and credits, and customer username and address. More information.
