    Support provided and issue resolved. We initially were unable to print a shipping label we had ordered and paid for.

    Any negatives?

    We like the option of phone support.

    Email response was helpful, friendly, and there was excellent follow up. I was able to get a refund credit for the unused label and figured out on my own how to create a second label. Amanda was extremely helpful and continued to provide suppor over a short period of time. It was appreciated.

    Customer support was excellent! There was some fraudulent activity on our account. We notified Shippo of the breach and they were very responsive. They put someone right on it and refunded the defrauded amount. Couldn't have asked for better service. Thank you.

    Lightening speed email replies and helped out with getting my account verified.
    I didn’t have to pay to make an account.
    I’m confident about my purchase.

    I wish the shipping labels were less expensive but that’s because I’m cheap. Nothing negative to say on Shippos end.

    Overall

    The support was excellent! Honestly I was a bit skeptical at first since I had to email my photo ID and last four digits of my debit card information but everything worked out perfectly.

    Better rates, Great service

    What were the positives?

    Better pricing than I was getting for USPS. Shipped out a hundred boxes to clients for Christmas gifts and working with Shippo saved me $100+ on the project.

    They got my negotiated UPS connected as well. It's a well organized system to take orders and get your products shipped quickly.

    Any negatives?

    I hope they consider adding an address book and other features that would make it easier to use Shippo to communicate with clients and regular customers that are not submitting an online order.

    Overall

    Excellent and quick support. Adam helped me with the aforementioned UPS rates.

    No "Flats" support, denied label refunds

    After decades of maintaining their own shipping software, my main software recently integrated Shippo instead. Unfortunately, Shippo did not support USPS "Flats" rates and our packages shipped out at the higher Parcel rate costing thousands in extra postage. When this shortcoming was finally discovered, we switched to applying postage manually with UPS Mail Innovations being perhaps our long term solution. Also, Shippo customer service was not very responsive in refunding duplicate labels. We still have hundreds of dollars owed and were told they can not help us any more.

    Shippo is a great product & we have really enjoyed working with this great company. They have provided very smooth transactions and their customer service is outstanding. Shippo has provided a great platform for our company to purchase postage and we would definitely recommend them to any e-commerce platform that also shares the need to smoothly process postage for their e-commerce website. We use their services through a third party and have enjoyed the smooth transactions. Any time we reached out to customer service they provided prompt, professional service.

    Overall a great experience so far!

    We just started using Shippo for our shipping needs both on and off our ecommerce site. Their app looks great and their documentation/API is among the best I've worked with, so the integration with our website was a lot easier than expected.

    The software has a few quirks sometimes, but nothing major, and they well make up for it with a really responsive and great customer support! I would definitely recommend others to give Shippo a try...we previously used stamps.com that we felt was a bit limited. Overall a great experience!

    Refund Label

    Good communication. I sent an email and the day after I received an answer. They really did something to help me to resolve my problem.

    I ordered by mistake a label and they refund me.

    Postage Refund question. Received great support!

    I'm new to Shippo. I use it to purchase postage to mail parcels from Canada into the US via USPS. I had the need to cancel two of my postage purchases, but didn't know where my refund was going. I could not see the refunds being credited back to my VISA, not were they listed in my account.

    I sent a note to Shippo support via email but wasn't sure what kind of answer/service I would receive. The next day I received a reply from Adam S, who wrote me back to explain that my refunds were being applied to other shipment labels that I purchased. He then told me where I could see these transactions and I was able to confirm that they indeed happened.

    Adam S was friendly, open and asked me if I had any more questions. I was satisfied with his response and also with Shippo's service. They have things figured out. I appreciate that I received a response that was helpful and to the point.

    Overall I am happy with the results and highly recommend Shippo to anyone who needs to purchase postage for parcels.

    Support Grade: 9 out of 10 🙂

    What were the positives?

    Adam, was great in gettin what I needed resolved. He was right on top of what I needed. I didn't have to 3-4 days for a response. I barely waited 24hrs for them to help me.

    Any negatives?

    Nope, he was great. They are timely and great customer service. Adam, knew exactly what to do and how to do it. His support mattered and made me feel important as a customer.

    I love Shippo!! I have 2 separate online shops thru GoDaddy and Etsy and it syncs both shops orders all in one place which makes it so much easier to handle all my shipping!

    Their customer service is phenomenal!! I had one little issue after I closed then reopened one of my shops, but I emailed them thru the site for help and Adam went above and beyond to resolve it for me! I am extremely happy with this company!!!

    Great integration with Shopify

    What were the positives?

    Great integration with the Shopify platform and good rates when it comes to postage. Makes it easy to compare rates across different carriers as well. Will continue to recommend.

    Any negatives?

    Would be great if they had chat or call support. Sometimes, you need quicker response than email and it can be frustrating that they only have an email support option.

    Great to use when shipping USPS from Canada

    What were the positives?

    I needed a platform to print USPS labels from Canada and have them sent to the US via courier to a US based post office. Shippo was a perfect solution, I was able to import my Etsy sales into Shippo so I didn't have to re write out shipping addresses etc. Everything imported great and I love that I don't have to then go and close an order on Etsy and add the tracking number as Shippo takes care of that.

    Any negatives?

    It works great for what I need it to.

    Overall

    I had an issue and I had a reply from a tech before I woke up the next morning explaining what was happening and I easily fixed the problem and was shipping again.

    Great features and customer support

    Shippo has a really seamless integration with Woocommerce and works great out of the box! So easy to compare shipping prices from different carriers on the interface, and generate customs declarations with data already available from the order. We really like the pricing model that allows us to use this service without committing to a certain shipping volume.
    We reached out to customer support to request about deactivating the status change on Woocommerce when a label was created. Customer support was fast and friendly and solved our issue.
    We are now using Shippo to generate labels for most of our orders.
    Highly recommended.:D

    What started off as an okay service is NOW AMAZING! Rebekah D. is wonderful to work with, highly recommend them! 🙂

    I just want to say that their support is great, and as long as they understand what issue you're having, they'll be able to help you.

    I had a somewhat unhappy experience with an issue where I didn't know that the second line on the shipping shouldn't be an apartment, but they were able to figure out why the error happened and to push the feature through to the developers. Highly recommended!

    No Support - Log ticket, nothing, no confirmation, no respon

    I've logged 4 tickets with shippo on a store integration, I've received no confirmation that they've received request and after 24 hours received no emails. The Store integrations can only be added, they cannot be removed, and when you remove the webhooks from shipping webhooks in WooCommerce, they integrations in Shippo still show active, when that is technically not possible, since webhooks and key/pair values have been removed from the store they are integrating with. Really Poor Support..

    rip off for Canadian businesses !

    Everything - complicated setup no mention of outrageous prices until the very end.

    You don't want to know about the customer support.

    They only present you with the most expensive ways to ship under Canada Post !
    Went directly to Canada Post and was able to save 50 % !

    Pitney Bowes was way simpler and straight forward and I used it many times with no problems whatsoever, this outfit is some overpriced new age baffle gap site. The name says it all, used shippo get charged like every package contained a hippo !

    Never again

    There is nothing good about using Shippo.

    Two times I used it and both times nothing but headaches and wasted time to sort thing out.
    First, their Canadian shipping options are actually not mentioned and are under 'Use my own packaging/shipping method', not sure who designed their website but it was an amateur to say the least.
    This time I took the package to the post office only to be told the label wasn't paid for.
    There is no contact number for Shippo, so you have to wait until the next day to get a response to your email.
    In their response they told me to tell postal workers to use 'Vendor Account' option, this is a day AFTER it was supposed to be shipped. Why don't they mention it when I purchased the label?
    Anyway, I will NEVER use them again to ship anything, I do have corporate account with Canada Post so I'll pay same or lower price.
    I only used them because they came up as an option on ebay.

    Stay away, a joke of a service.

    What were the positives?

    Nothing, It was complicated to link my account to ebay and paypal and I had to call Canada Post and setup an account. Then after 3 days of trying to do that once it finally was working I went to ship an item and it was WAY OVERPRICED! I then went to get a rate from the Canada Post website itself and it was half the price that Shippo was offering. I will not be using shippo and my ebay days may be coming to an end.

    Basically the entire experience overall. I can't think of one good part of the experience.

    We LOVE Shippo!

    We've been using Shippo for a couple of years now. It's so easy to use. I have a small boutique clothing store in Los Angeles and I started processing online orders for my shop a few years back to be able to service my clients across the country and abroad. With a mail scale and Shippo I have everything I need to easily and quickly fulfill all of my customer's shipping needs. I can ship cheap in the USA and they've made creating customs forms for shipping oversees a BREEZE!

    They're super responsive in support and have answers and solutions! I couldn't be happier with the service and highly recommend it!

    Clean, Easy app for shipping...

    We ship handmade positive coffee mugs. Shippo made everything VERY easy for us. This is a simple, no nonsense app for our store. Orders come in, label is printed and confirmation emails sent. It's that simple.

    We also had questions and received responses within an hour. We only wish they would have phone support like Bigcommerce and Weebly.

    It's too bad many app providers are "hiding" in emails and not offering swift phone support. It could ONLY INCREASE their reviews and business.

    I've really enjoyed using Shippo with my small business. Their site is easy to use and their customer service is excellent. I've learned a lot about shipping thanks to their customer service. I always get my questions answered in timely manner. Even when my original case manager was out of the office, another manager stepped up and checked in with me to make sure my needs were take care of and I didn't even have a big issue going on; just simple labeling questions for future use. I highly recommend them for all your shipping needs.

    What were the positives?

    It is easy to move around their website and printing the shipping labels is an easy process. We tried another service before Shippo, and for us, Shippo has been great.

    Any negatives?

    Shippo does not have phone support, so if you have a problem you want to solve immediately, it could be very frustrating because they might not reply as quickly as you need them to, especially if you are on a time deadline. In addition, their help section is not as "rich" with information as it could be.

    Overall

    The support staff has been friendly, knowledgeable and professional.

    Great customer service

    I recently sent a query to Shippo asking about their Shoppify app. I hadn't even purchased anything and I got a very fast response with the answer to my question from Shippo customer service. And then I even got further information that helped me understand the problem I was dealing with. The rep didn't have to do that and it was really helpful and appreciated! I will certainly remember the experience and Shippo will be on the top of m y list of vendors to use for the needs of my web development clients in the future!

    Super fast support help

    I like Shippo for several reasons. Every other shipping app I looked at, my business was between price levels: we ship too much to get the free version, but don't ship nearly enough to justify the monthly cost for the paid version. Shippo is cheap and the cost is per label, which is perfect for my business.

    After getting started with Shippo, I needed support a couple of times, and they were super fast to respond! I really didn't expect that, and it's so nice to do business with people who have great customer service.

    Shippo service was great.

    We had a problem with syncing our orders with Woocommerce. We also experienced double listings once everything was synced. Since we were new to both Woocommerce and Shippo, I was concerned about being bounced back and forth.

    So we contacted them immediately. They immediately recognized the problem and they helped us understand it. Although we are experiencing some residual issue, they have made sure to address all of our issues. All the while we experienced no downtime.

    Shippo Rocks!

    What were the positives?

    First of all, for small home businesses, Shippo makes it possible to be a mail order company without any hassle at all. Plus, any discounts help and it is wonderful that besides being super fast and easy, it is also economical!

    Any negatives?

    Ship should make it a policy to emphasize that their company is "Green". Besides being fast, simple and easy, Shippo leaves a small carbon footprint and is really great for the environment. Without Shippo I would drive a half an hour, 30 miles, to the nearest post office (and then who wants to wait in line?). I love that I can just drop the boxes or packets off at my mailbox at my convenience.

    Overall

    I am very enthusiastic about the topic of customer support because I have a very low threshold for frustration when dealing with any kind of technology. I am always super happy to talk to a human or get an email from a human.

    Recently, my credit card got hacked and the bank called me to tell me and that they were cancelling the card, to tear up my card and they would send me a new one, within two weeks. That happened to be the day that I heard from Shippo that my invoice did not go through...

    I want to acknowledge Amanda because I have heard from her before during my short interactions with Shippo. She is definitely human and is very positive, which made me love Shippo even more!

    The happy ending is that instead of waiting two weeks to get my new card, I got in in two business days. So technology isn't terrible after all!

    I had a hard time printing a shipping label. Emailed Shippo, a lady there, Rebekah, made sure to put the label where I could easy access it. Within several hours, I had my answer, not like with some other businesses which either answer a week later, or not at all...
    Overall: in the past year I had to contact Shippo two or three times with minor issues, every time their Staff was very helpful.
    Thank you Shippo for a great shipping experience. USPS, Fedex and others would do well to learn from you :):

    I haven't used Shippos services yet, but I had a couple snags setting up my account. A sweet young lady quickly jumped in to help. It became quickly evident that I failed to complete pertinent information, but she was completely professional in handling matters I've no doubt any future snags that may happen, which probably will as I bumble through the steps, will be taken care of quickly. I see using Shippo as an asset in making sure I'm able get shipments to my customers as efficiently as possible.

    Great service

    I run the Avid Bookshop Book Subscriptions Program from Athens, Georgia, so I'm shipping books out to customers across the U.S. constantly. For this reason, I love using Shippo--it's efficient and affordable and user-friendly. And every time I've had a question, the staff have responded quickly and kindly and informatively. Just watch one of the tutorial videos, and you'll be all set. All you need is a printer and computer. It doesn't even take that long to figure out how to use.

    Great customer support at Shippo

    The Shippo API is well documented, and easy to implement. We had a few minor snafus which were quickly remedied.

    Shippo's customer support is where I've been most impressed. They're always prompt, and actively seek to provide help, instead of just locating the closest matching answer from a knowledge base.

    As a developer and a service provider, we understand the importance of customer support. That's why I feel Shippo deserves special attention on this matter. Thanks Susanna and team!
